Good glass bowls but not that stackable
While I have 2 sets of Rubbermaid plastic storage containers, I like these glass bowls for when storing something with strong dye, like speghetti because of the red dye in the sauce would stain the plastic storage containers. Same for red dye in beets. Glass won't stain. Alas, these don't stack well. They can be stacked, but not much of one fits inside another, and the lids don't stack, so I store them atop each other with a lid on each one. Still I'm satisfied with these. The lids fit well (and why I got these because my old glass bowls have ill-fitting lids, but they're very old). I would buy these again, but in a larger size.

Not heat resistant
The description says it's microwave safe but it broke the first time I put it in the microwave and made a huge mess. I got this from curbside pickup and now I have to go into the store to return a bunch of broken glass.

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser08/06/2022Great bowls! It was time to replace all of my plastic Rubbermaid containers and I wanted something that would be easy to clean. These bowls are microwave safe, oven safe, and dishwasher safe. I couldn't be happier with my new Pyrex.Unknown

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser01/30/2022Pyrex quality needs no explanationPyrex quality needs no explanation. They are exactly as expected and just in time for portioning cold weather soups and stews. I believe they're 4 cup, but they reasonably hold about 3 cups of liquids and solids, especially is one wishes to freeze them.MMsquared

1.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser03/18/2021Pyrex is garbage now. Only the lids are US made.Pyrex is now made overseas with the expected consequences of lousy workmanship. Bought 3 sets and returned 3 sets, everyone was defective; glass chips, bubbles, scratches/scrapes. I mean, how do you scratch pyrex? But they managed it...pickypete

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser02/23/2021Typical Good Pyrex ProductI haven't put the lids through the dishwasher yet, but out of the box the lids fit fine and I don't have a problem stacking the bowls. They seem to be the usual excellent Pyrex quality and the price was better than what I found elsewhere.JENNIFER

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser01/01/2021Great for in the fridge or the lunch paleBought these for my wife. she loves the high quality feel of them. They have a very sturdy feel the glass is not cheap feeling and it does not feel fragile. We recently bought a few more just so we can store leftovers in them and also use them in the microwave. i would recommend theseAaron

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser12/30/2020Glass over plastic storageThese are a great alternative to plastic storage, and we have bought several sizes. They reheat and freeze fine. Only con is edges of plastic lids tend to crack, and lids are very snug so hard to remove for arthritic fingers. I hand wash lids, as dishwasher seems to make them less flexible.40yearflosser

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser12/02/2020so much better than the plastic bowlsThese bowls are great (and at a fantastic price). They're the perfect size to store our soup in a two person serving. We've microwaved them straight out of the freezer without any issues with the glass or plastic. We've ordered more to replace all our plastic (and are even giving some as Christmas gifts).stlbecky

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser10/07/2020A non-staining alternativeThe reason I bought these was to use glass in the microwave rather than plastic, which absorbs stains. They fit the bill perfectly. The only side effect, so to speak, is that glass absorbs and holds the heat more so than plastic, but using hot pads to remove from the nuclearwave, for me, is preferable to dealing with constant staining.Robert

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser09/19/2020Love the containersThe containers are great! Not only do the lids fit safe and are made of durable glass, they are free of harmful plastics seeping into the foods you place inside them. I freeze, heat and refrigerate these. I have more than 50 in various sizes. Great price too.LJ1014
