Great seeds! Party starts HERE with these seeds!
Great seeds! Our suqirrels comes in bunches to eat each morning along with bunches of birds. I have bought these Pennington Black Oil Sunflower Seed Wild Bird Feed for over two years now and the variety attracts THE MOST GORGEOUS Blue Stellar that I thought were simply blue jays/birds. They wait outside each morning for me to fee them these seeds!

Will repurcjase but unsatified with this bag.Anita

Two of the packages/boxes were fine and all intact. The third box had a bag of birdseed that was ripped and visibly taped to repair the rip. It was awkward removing it from the box for use. I don't know why they sent out a damaged bag thinking that taping it would be OK.Lynn

The seeds are of excellent quality, as soon as I put in the bird feeders, mixed with other seeds, birds came fast. Black oil sunflower seeds are one of the songbirds' favorite food and this brand is excellent, I love their products and qualitySasa

Pennington should make a better attempt to sell cleaner seed. There's also a good supply of bugs- black weevils in the bags, so make sure you don't buy too much at one time, and keep the seed in sealed ZipLock bags if you store it inside- or outside.MikeF

What I'm not happy with is upon opening the package I see sunflower seeds everywhere and tape covering some of the rip in the package. This feed helps the winter birds such as he Cardinal's, Tufted Titmouse, Black & White Warblers, Sparrows, and the Squirrels too. I put he seed in my Squirrel proof steel bird feeder to make it available o the birds only. I also spread the same feed on the ground around the bird feeder for the squirrels and the birds. It came just in time before the first big snow we ave and temperatures below zero. The nut inside the shell is high in protein which will help the birds and squirrels keep a healthy coat and layer of fat, and for energy. I live about 30 feet from a thick forest, and believe me "I get plenty of bird traffic. So, if you are a bird lover and care about making sure they have plenty of high quality all natural bird feed, PENNINGTON Back Oil Sunflower Seeds will keep your bird traffic heavy and a joy for me and my cat to watch. No worries about my cat getting to the birds. She is an indoor Orange Tabby and she lays flat on the inside window sill and makes a chirping sound when she sees he beautiful birds.
