Great Stew
I really like this product. I think it is the best canned stew on the market so ffar that I have tried. You get actual pieces of veggies and meat. Others have been just mushy.

If it's not broken, don't fix it!
I know you all made the change awhile ago, but I'm still disgusted by the newer recipe. I've been buying the plastic trays (please don't change this recipe), because they taste like the old familiar Dinty Moore I know and love. The ingredients are different - no mushroom powder. Please re-evaluate your decision to change the recipe, listen to your customers (many of whom have been eating this since childhood!) and bring back the old classic!

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser11/11/2021Buy, well rounded meal.Very tasty not salty full of flavor, a great long term storage food. The can size is perfect for a hearty meal. I bought 10 cans then bought 12 more to go with my stores. So easy to re-heat fire with can as your cooking pot, microwave or cold last option.james

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser11/06/2021Perfect for an emergency pantry!I love Dinty Moore Stew. I bought it for my pantry. It can be eaten hot, or straight out of the can in an emergency situation. It is fully cooked. The 15 oz. size is a perfect size, no waste. I highly recommend this to anyone trying to build up an emergency pantry.Maria

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser07/13/2021Taste like Home-MadeDinty Moore is probably the best stew in a can you can get just like home made excellent taste but do keep your eyes open for price. The 15 oz. cans are the same price as the 20 oz. cans after buying 4 just realized could have bought 3 cans of 20 oz. Saved money and had the same amount of stew....James

1.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser10/05/2016Flat Out LousyWe've eaten Dinty Moore Beef Stew for years, but hadn't had any since last Fall. This weekend we picked up a couple of cans to have for quick meals and had some tonight. It was terrible tasting stuff and we didn't finish it. I just accessed this website and found these poor reviews, and I have to say that we agree that Dinty Moore isn't good anymore. It's flat out lousy. Why change a recipe that stood the test of time? Dinty Moore used to be so delicious, but this mess wasn't even close to what we remembered. I doubt we'll even open the second can and will probably throw it away.Bman

2.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser08/12/2016Terrible change!I mostly cook at home but in a pinch I will use good quality canned meals. Dinty Moore has always been a favorite go to, quick, and delicious....until now. I was shocked that our dinner had no meat chunks, just a very small amount of ground something that I guess was supposed to be a meat product. I will not be using it again, it was way below my standards.Evie

1.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser07/19/2016My whole family is disgusted!!!When I was a child I use to eat dinty moore beef stew all the time. It was my favorite thing to eat. My whole family use too eat it all the time. Every since you guys changed it, it doesn't taste good at all. Me and my whole family are disappointed and I'm just gonna say that if you changed it back to the way it use too be then your sales would probably go back up. I probably have had 20 some people in my family say they won't even touch it anymore and we all use to eat it all the time. Please change it backMoe21

1.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser02/17/2016Hearty Dinty Moore Beef StewThe new Hearty Dinty Moore Beef Stew tastes terrible and can best compared to dog food. First time we tried it we looked at other and said "YUCK" in unison. First and last time. No more Hearty garbage for us! Thanks so much Hormel! The original Dinty Moore Beef Stew was delicious and my family ate it twice a week. Too bad companies don't know how to leave a good thing alone.Seth

1.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser01/18/2016Changed For The WorseI used to love the taste when it had real stew meat in it; now it has ground meat with soybeans and it tastes terrible. It was the only stew I liked; I expected quality from the Hormel brand and now that it is cheapened, I will not buy any more of it.Skipper89

3.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser12/09/2015Why the change in recipe? Mushrooms? IckI don't know why they changed it. It was perfect as it was. Why do companies ruin what was once wonderful? Do they not realize they will lose their life long supporters by the attempt to gain a few new people? Pringles did this to their basic chip in 2010 or 2011 (I think to make it crispier) and it ruined the flavor. I can't even eat them now they're nothing like they were. Whatever they changed just ruined it, like Dinty did here.Nia Review
