    Only partially functional.
    It works great in landscape. Im disappointed using it in portrait. It wont hold my iPad that way.

    Don't move the stand while the iPad is on it!
    This unit arrived very poorly packaged for shipping. It was half out of the bag that it was packaged in. One of the legs had come off so we used pliers to reconnect. When assembled it seems to be stable enough, however don't move the stand while iPad is connected or it will fall. You can't tell from the pictures, but the iPad only connects to the stand with little teeth that only secure via gravity. They don't lock in place. So it feels very insecure like it could fall. Should be okay if you don't bump it, but certainly don't adjust the stand with your iPad connected otherwise it will fall. Also, it does not hold iPads in fold-back cases. You have to remove from that style case. Full coverage cases that don't fold back seem to be okay.

    75% what I needed for facetime with family.
    There were no assembly or instruction, and was not even labeled. The pad on the tablet bracket was slightly indented on top, and the carry case had small cuts. I covered the cuts with nylon repair patches.
