My hair is shiny.
The iron is so sleek and functional! I have really corse and semi wavy hair. This iron makes my hair so shiny and straight just after one pass. Keep in mind there's only off and on switch, which I'm a little bummed about because I wish there was a temp. control switch, but it's ok, as long as it does the job!

This is not a ghd product. It does not say ghd on the flat iron itself, and comes in a generic box. I returned it. I was shocked that Walmart is selling it as a named brand, when it is not.

    This GHD flat iron is expensive but the bottom line is you get what you pay for. This is a high quality flat iron that constantly monitors the temperature to ensure safe styling. It heats up quickly. I have fine curly hair that tends to frizz. With this flat iron one pass and I get great results. That is important because it is damaging to the hair if you keep running the flat iron over your hair. The GHD is pre set to 365 degrees. This is the optimum temperature for perfect styling. This is the best flat iron that I ever used.

    Walmart not an authorized dealer of this product
    I didn't realize that Walmart isn't an authorized dealer of this product (which seems strange?) so GHD cannot verify the authenticity of the product and I am also not covered by the GHD warranty

    So shiny!
    I love this straightener. I always leave the house %26 end up going back cause I can't remember if I turned it off! OCD. So I love that this one will automatically turn off if you're not using it. I live where it is super humid %26 my last straightener the chi would get frizzy %26 only last a day. This one kept my hair straight for 3 days through humidity %26 rain! Definitely worth the high price.

    Disappointed. Worked less than a year.
    Heated up great but didn't last a whole year. Very disappointed. Was a great tool at first, but no longer works and return request was declined. Thought for $170 I would have a tool that would last several years, not just several months.

    I love this. It heats up so fast and straitens my hair so fast. This is my favorite hair tool so far. I love the design and it chooses right temperature for my hair.

    It works, but it is definitely not a ghd platinum plus. Brand is nowhere to be seen. I have a real ghd and this is different.

    Received a fake. No GHD branding (in fact no branding whatsoever) on either the box or product. Actually tried it but it wouldn't heat up and kept turning off.

    A must have styling tool for straight and curls.
    It is the best straightener I have had so far. Definitely a game changer for those who want to style straight and curl. The style is long lasting(atleast 2-3 days in humid weather). The only thing I am not thrilled is it sometimes pulls a strand of hair here and there. I have thick hair so I don't mind. It has smart technology to detect the heat setting but I would have liked to control that on my own. It does get hot so recommend using heat spray and hot gloves to protect yourself and your hair.
