should feed cats this food from birth
premium foods usually dont do it for my cats. the cat it was intended for eats it sometimes. other cats end up eating it. it really smells and looks like mostly chicken.

Check what you receive with a magnifying glass
My cats like this product fine, and so DID I . I ordered 3 cases chicken pate for adult cats. I got one, plus 2 cases of chicken pate for KITTENS. (My cats are 13 years old. Kitten food is a no-no for senior cats.) At first glance, the boxes look identical -- it takes a magnifying glass to discover they say "kittens", not "adults." I requested replacements from Walmart. They immediately shipped two cases. One was chicken pate for adult cats ... and the other was chicken AND HERRING pate for adult cats (in microscopic print.) As before, if I hadn't by now felt burned, I might not have noticed the substitution until it was too late to ask for a replacement. I asked for a replacement. Walmart would give me a refund BUT NOT A REPLACEMENT. So if I want my third case, I'd have to put in a new order AND PAY SHIPPING. I don't know where the problem is, but it's been a major hassle and I'm switching to another vendor to buy this product in the future.

    Cat satisfying
    I buy the pate because I have an older cat that doesn't have teeth. She loves this food. Turkey and Salmon are her favorite flavors. I can also feel good about feeding it to her, it's grain free with real turkey and salmon as the first ingredients with no artificial flavors.

    for good pet diet
    changed over to Wellness once i had to put my house cat on a diet. She loves it and the transition did not upset her stomach. a bit pricier than my previous brand but better ingredients.
