WD products are the TOP OF THE LINE!
I just don't have enough kudos for WD products in general and this held up true to form! I read the reviews prior to purchasing and I am in complete agreement, this IS the very best surveillance hard drive available. Hands down. Not even over priced, competitive in fact, for the reliability and excellent product. Super easy to install in any DVR and I am 100% satisfied with every aspect of this product. WD, you did it again. Top notch!!!

    WD 2TB Surveillance WD20PURZ
    I needed a hard drive to replace my Tivo hd. I was looking for larger drive and a something reliable. I know WD are very good drives. Purple drive just what I needed the ability to record over and over. They have great warranty and support. Everything working great no problems.

    Works better than the Seagate drive.
    works well in the Night Owl survelience system I put it in. Not like the Seagate drive that came in it that died after just a few months.

    Plenty of space!
    I bought this for a surveillance system and has been working great. There really isn't much I can say about a harddrive, but this was at a great price for 2tb that's why I got it.
