Poor Quality
Clipper is obnoxiously loud. With full power it's actually deafening (no hyperbole). I loosened the power screw all the way and that helped, but was still as loud as a lawn mower. The plastic gaurds were very cheap, misshapen and bent on arrival. The combs were made out of the same low grade plastic, doubt they would last very long either. I refunded this poor quality product, should've known better as it was less than 20 bux. I'm out the small shipping fee, but lesson learned. I don't even think Wahl makes these Chinese products. They probably just have some marketing deal and stick their logo on them!

    Good enough
    Cuts hair well, but as the price says it's mediocre and should be used for home use. It's a bit loud and vibrates a lot but it gets the job done. I like it.

    This is an awesome product for the price. You can not beat the deal on this one. Easy to use, nice even cut, and a box to keep it all in! Fantastic!! I absolutely DO recommend this hair cutting ✂️clippers set!

    “Search” window is rather small. Otherwise product Recieved was of excellent quality. Well packed. More convenient than shopping at actual store and priced competively.

    Clean Cutterz!
    I have used the Whal professional for years and knew this was what I would be getting again. I used it just a couple days after it arrived. Everything was there and in proper order. The case wasn't as nice as previous ones I have recieved but still better then the bag most clippers come with now. The unit was pre oiled and ready to go after opening. It cut great, didn't pull at all and judging by the feel of it believe this set will also last me 10 years. I do wish they gave you more oil but its cheap and you can order it off walmarts website. It cut even and had every attachmet necessary to complete the task. My kids love how quick and easily it moved through the hair. We didnt have a single issue with pull or discomfort.

    Cut well, attachments are hard to attach.
    I just bought these clippers after my old ones died after many years' use. These cut very well but of course I don't know how long they will last . The thing I don't like is that the attachments are very hard to put on.

    Great price, love the tappered L and R!
    I bought these at $17 just cause they had the tapper 2-3 guard. Been cutting my own hair for years and loosing my touch on fade... Ha ha. Tapered L and R guard makes this kit worth it on it's own. Oh, and box, accessories all fit in the box after opening, keep it oiled and set for a while!

    Good enough for my needs, but just barely.
    The quality and performance of this kit is a mixed bag, so I'll share my experience with the components individually: The clippers in this kit are probably worth the overall price, although not as nice as other Wahl corded clippers I've used - they're a little louder and less stable. The lubricating oil is okay, as is the little cleaner brush. The scissors are serviceable for an occasional mustache trim or similar use. The combs are utter throwaways, in my opinion - I certainly wouldn't use them, and did just that. The clipper attachments for setting hair length are the weakest performance link in the kit. The longest ones and shortest ones were intact and functional, but several of the others came bent and misaligned - the result of poor initial quality, poor quality control, and poor packaging. The storage case is another aspect where cost control makes it barely useful - it is too thin, doesn't align well when closed, and doesn't stay closed well. All in all, I'm satisfied with my purchase - but barely. The things I need to use work okay. Fortunately, the worst components are things I don't need to use, but that's just a coincidence. For others, though, they could be more important and put this into the "not good enough" category.

    This thing rattles more than a carnival roller coaster. I made all of the recommended adjustments and it still had a range of noise from lawn mower to jet engine. I honestly think they replaced the motor with one from a hand held massager. My old Wahl trimmer is virtually silent. I have owned several Wahl trimmers over the last 25 years and this is the worst quality I have ever seen. Whether the cheap plastic handle or the rocker switch, it all feels like a dollar store item. Wahl should avoid the temptation to cave to WalMarts lowest price points if this is the crap they will produce. Why harm your reputation? Just say no! In the meantime Im going up the cost ladder to find something of decent quality.
