Great for kids
If you are looking for something that works like a laptop, then you aren't getting what you need. If you are looking for something to go online, play games, watch netflix and keep those kiddos busy (or yourself) then this is perfect. It is a bigger screen than my phone and makes it easier to have a child play without having to tie up the family or parent computer. Much more affordable to let the kids use. Things may run a little slower than a regular computer, but again it is not a computer. It is exactly what it needs to be for the price. I love it!

garbage
this is the biggest piece of garbage ever, as soon as I opened it I had static from the speakers, the time was always wrong even after changing it, and to top it off visual land wants me to pay to send it to them to fix, no way this is not coming out of my pocket for your garbage tablet.

    terrible tablet
I ordered this for my 7 year old daughter. She really wanted a tablet and they have it in a cute pink color so I thought why not. The tablet froze up as soon as it was turned on and wouldn't even let me turn it off. It never would work so back to Walmart it went.

I would buy it again... but know these things!
I purchased 3 of these for my children for Christmas (ages 11, 10, 9) online for $49 each. I read all the reviews but at that price, I though I would take the risk. This tablet does not compare to a Galaxy or Ipad. That's not what it is, and if you want that type of product then don't waste your time on this product. But if you are in need of a decent tablet to watch movies, listen to music, read emails, play games, connect to Facebook then this is fine... just fine... I would not recommend this for younger children because it's not robust enough to stand up to their type of "care." Note: this does not have a forward-facing camera, only one that faces you, so it is hard to take a picture of someone else... "selfies" are fine though. Some apps don't have the same quality as others and look blurry but overall the screen is very clear for apps, pics and movies. I set these up and charged them before I gave them to my kids. I found that the tablets are set to "automatic updating" through Google. TURN THIS OFF. If you don't, the tablet becomes unresponsive because you are trying to update every app at once (you can find it in the settings in the PLAY store) and will burn out your battery. Next, not all the chargers work at the same rate. My 9 year old's took twice as long to charge than my 11 year old's. When I switched the plugs though, my 9 year old's charged right up. The battery lasts about 4 hours with active use before it needs to be charged. DO NOT OVERCHARGE THIS TABLET. I did charge them overnight once and they all felt hot, which can't be good. Now I just have them charge them if it get's low but otherwise I leave them off the charger. Sometimes, the tablet freezes. When that happens I just press and hold the power button until it turns off. I wait a minute and then press and hold the button again until it turns on and it works fine. To save space and improve responsiveness, you may want to move your apps to the SD card (you can do this through the manage apps button, then open each app individually you want to move to the SD card). Finally, because these are minors, I set the app controls in the play store so that they couldn't download anything above an "everyone" rating. If you get these for your kids, just be sure to supervise them so they don't download too many apps. I found some of the apps have a popup that ask to download another app and because children tend not to read; they just hit OK which in turn downloads something else. Manage your apps regularly and uninstall anything that causes glitches. Some apps don't play on this particular tablet and some cause it to glitch. If that happens, just uninstall and find a different app. I would buy these again and I hope this review helps other potential shoppers.

    Great item for the price
I bought this for my 80 Years young grandma who is not tech savy and likes a smaller tablet that fits in her hands so she can play solitaire and balloon pop. she does not use it for much else. I also needed a Google android device to control the Chromecast i bought her for her HDTV. this works perfectly for that also .

    Awesome Tablet
I bought this tablet for myself. I also bought a different brand for my niece. This one was much faster. It slowed down a bit when I downloaded certain games but once I removed the games it was fast again. I only bought it for browsing the web and games which it's absolutely perfect for. When I have to do any real work I use my laptop instead. But all in all, great value and speed. Love it!!!

very slow tablet, not worth paying $69 to $79
Bought four of these tablets for my kids. Upon arriving, I setup all four tablets and tested them by downloading games, and doing all things you would. Turns out that tablets cannot handle two commands at a time because they freeze up. Screen quality is poor, and can only be viewed straight ahead and not from any angle. Tablets have only one speaker, so don't expect the sound boost. One of the tablets, kept acting all crazy running apps and menus, so I tried to perform factory reset, and under no circumstances, after following the manufacturer's hard reset instructions, did the tablet accept the reset. However, battery life is not bad. I bought these at a great price of $49 each on Cyber Monday, but unfortunately these tablets are poor in performance. I would never again purchase any tablet under $100 with less than a 1.2ghz quad-core processor. These are definitely going back to Wal-Mart.

    Not awesome, but definitely sufficient
We got off to a rocky start, and I almost returned the tablet, but I decided to give it a fair chance, and I'm actually pretty ok with it now. I bought this to replace a 10" tablet that is a total piece of junk, and at first I didn't think this one was much better. The first few times I used it it was EXTREMELY slow, which is the problem I had with the 10" tablet. I finally realized that it was so slow, because it was continuously updating. Now that all of the apps are up to date, it seems to be running fine. It's not super fast, but it definitely works better than the other tablet I have! I use it for music, reading, surfing Pinterest, etc. I don't play games, or use a lot of apps, so not sure how well it would work for that stuff. It drags a bit if I try to run more than 2 things off the internet at the same time, like Kindle & Pandora for instance. Video sites like Netflix are slow to start, but once they're open, they run just fine. No lags to buffer or anything. Overall it's not a bad tablet, and considering I only paid $50 for it, it's definitely a great value! If you're looking for the latest & greatest, I would spend the extra money for a better tablet, but if you are just looking for a basic starter tablet, this one is a pretty good buy! Oh, and battery life is exceptional! It runs an entire day on a charge, and that's with continuous use, checking things, picking it up & putting it down through out the day.

Would not update or download apps
Recieved it, started playing around with it and it would not download any apps thought it might of needed to be updated, but it wouldn't even update. Only thing it did was show error screens. Had it for about an hour before I brought it right back to be returned.

    Great Tablets for kids.
This must be a good product IF I bought 3. 1st was for my Granddaughter (10 yr old) and she loved it until it died. I'm hoping the life expectancy will be better for the replacement. #1 lasted from June until 30Nov. I bought another one for my 9 yr old Grandson for Christmas. I also bought the same brand for the replacement. She knew exactly what to do which surprised me, the only difference between the 2 is #1 only had 8MB and #2 will have 16MB. I know the kids will get LOTS of use out of their Tablets...........I just hope they last longer this time. Make sure you get the warranty.........it might be a little costly BUT in the end it'll save you more.
