No good
I bought this to extend my skull candy earbuds to my PC & should have listened to the negative half of the reviews because it muffles sound dramatically rendering them useless.

    Does what it's Supposed to Do
    Seems durable. Connection fittings are nice and tight. No loss of signal strength. No noticeable audio noise/static. Low price. Good Buy! Don't ask me why computer headphones are made with 2-3 foot cords. You shouldn't need to buy an extension cable just so you can use your headphones without ripping your ears off every time you cross your legs at your computer workstation! But if you have to, this is the item to buy. (excuse my rant of a pet peeve).

    I use this extension to connect my headphones or earbuds to my computer. Without it, the cord is too short. This setup works perfectly for me. Great value for the price.

    Horrible sound quality, lots of cracking.
    I got this for my boyfriend for Christmas to use at work because he likes to roll around his large desk and kept getting hung up on his headphones. Well he used them once and said he could hardly hear and it crackling if he moved around too much. We tried them with three different types of headphones and all had the same results. I'll have to do my research better and buy him a new pair.

    Used it on 5 car trips so far and it works great. Use it together with the Belkin 3 foot wire and the kids control the ipod from the back of the van. No static like on the FM transmitters.

    Works as advertised.
    The cord is just a tad longer than one might wish but it is one of the shorter ones available. The cords that come with external speakers for MP3 players are very short indeed and an extension is required to provide functionality. This does the trick. I use an MP3 player to play bird calls in the field and an external speaker to amplify the calls so the birds can hear them.

    I went to many electronic stores in my home town and none of them carried this M/F Mini-Stereo cable. Not even Radio Shack! I haved learned that Walmart.com has almost all of your electronic needs. Don't waste your time, just visit Walmart.com. By the way, the product is of excellent quality and an exceptional value.

    great for listening to online radio at work
    I bought this for about $4 bucks including shipping. I run it from my computer and under my desk, so I can listen to headphones without any cords in the way. The quality is just fine and as expected for what I paid. Kind of a silly product to review, but Walmart asked me to, and I do love this for what it is so decided to write a quick review.

    these are just what I needed to use with my headphones for late night tv viewing. the 10 foot cord on the phones would stretch tight and it worried me that I might ruin them but the extra 6ft. fixed the problem for 4 bucks. the sound quality is excellent.
