This isn't an SSD. TL/DR on bottom of my review
If you're reading the reviews, you're either smart or you're too late like I am. When this product came in, I tried to connect it, but it didn't work. I tried everything in my power to make it work, but I gave up and threw it at the wall. That's when I saw what was happening. In my brief fit of rage, I threw the so-called 2 TB SSD, separating the shell from the sled. It was entirely empty. I have never been so mad. It's been roughly a month since it came in the mail, and it turned out to be sort of useful. When I was building my PC I only had one SSD and an old disk drive from my laptop. That SSD worked, and it was nice, but it only had 500GB. Hardly enough to keep Activision's prized Warzone and Modern Warfare (2019) on it. I kept my other apps on that 250 GB disk drive. Still not nearly enough space. I also had this WD MyBook external hard drive that didn't work at all, which really blows. I went shopping to fix my ever expanding storage problem, and I thought my problem was fixed. A 2TB SSD external drive for the price of 2 nice coffees. I really should have paid attention to the description. WWII spies don't have anything compared to the doublespeak that description uses. "Up to 2TB"? Yeah, if you have a separate SSD that has 2TB. This isn't going to be your golden goose of the silicon lottery. (TL/DR) But like I said, it can still serve a purpose. This is a shell for an SSD to make it portable, so you don't have to plug it in through the internal SATA and power cables. I'm using it with my 500GB SSD that stores all my online games so the loading times are faster with the power of the SSD, and portable because of the shell. I still only have it separate because I don't want to take off the back panel to my computer. I'm not lazy, that's just a stressful job. Image Discriptions: Picture 1 - this is the only thing inside the sled. Your personal SSD fits right up against that black piece on the bottom, just like in Picture 2. It will have some rattle when you get it, because it fits very loosely in the sled Picture 2 - these are the 2 pieces together. They fit together very well. Picture 3 - this is everything together in the sled. The light on the sled is a very bright blue LED that sometimes blinks. There is no rattle when everything is in place, and the SSD connector snaps in the sled in the most satisfying way. I lost the case, but it was just a small metallic cover for the sled. Everything should work together, just remember to plug it into a USB 3 Port. It should be blue and on most modern computers.

    Not what your looking for
This is not a hard drive it is only a case for a hard drive... it's empty no storage device... I went back and looked at advertisement and this fact is mentioned once in small print and in an obscure part of description... don't be fooled %99 This is not the "DEAL" you are looking for
