Effective
May not smell like honeysuckle or roses, but it has a very pleasant gentle smell. The primary benefit of this product is the absence of the chemical additions other deodorants have in them.

didn't do the job
I chose this deodorant because it is aluminum free, but the problem it didn't do its job of making me smelll clean

    Good but not excellent
    This product is good but not great. It doesn't hold for 24 hours but is great it reapplied every so often. Gentle smell and fits in a small purse for traveling. I would give it 5 stars, but it wouldn't be fare to other competitors like arm

    Best Deodorant for Odor plus Non-irritating to skin.
    This is literally the best deodorant made for these reasons: 1. It prevents stinky underarms. 2. It has very subtle fragrance. 3. Does not irritate my skin. 4. Doesn't contain harmful ingredients. I am very bummed out that it is not be carried in most stores anymore as I have tried other Tom's deodorant products, but they have not worked as well. (Lavendar, Calendula) But I will continue to order online and hope that they do NOT discontinue this excellent products. Over the years I have recommended this deodorant to other people with sensitive skin.

    This deodorant worked great for me and is my favorite. I liked the honeysuckle Rose scent too, not over powering. But I can not find anymore at my local stores. I tried two other scents and was disappointed. The lavender was too manly but I stink free. Soothing Calendula did not work, and was noticeably stinky after a couple hours. May have to switch brands.

    Only deodorant I don't kind of hate.
    I'm not a fan of most deodorant scents... they smell okay on the shelf but tend to combine with my natural skin smells to produce scents that I am just not into - especially lavender anything.... but this one smells good under my arms. And for a non-antiperspirant its surprisingly effective all day. Please never discontinue this one.

    Great deodorant for someone allergic to aluminum
    I'm allergic to the aluminum in antiperspirants. It gives me a terrible, painful rash. For a long time, I just used corn starch baby powder in place of deodorant, which works pretty well. But I was pleased to find this aluminum free deodorant and decided to give it a try. I really like it. I've gotten used to the fact that aluminum free products can't stop wetness at all, and won't stop odor as well as an antiperspirant. But this works way better than I expected. I occasionally reapply mid-day, but don't always need to. And I love the scent. Most importantly, I've found a deodorant that works, and doesn't give me a rash. Thanks so much!

    It's okay
    I didn't read reviews for this item before I purchased it but now I'm glad I didn't since the reviews weren't all that great. I guess the fragrance really does depend on one's body chemistry. I wasn't impressed by the fragrance at first (it really doesn't smell like honeysuckle OR roses) but it isn't offensive to me, either. I've found that if I put Arm & Hammer Essentials on first and a layer of Tom's Honeysuckle-Rose on top of that (I already had the A&H on hand), they actually smell quite nice together and the combination works well for every-other-day application between showers unless I'm really active or it's really hot weather. I love Tom's of Maine products but I probably won't buy this particular one again, though.
