Ruins shirts and is difficult to wash off.
I only shop cruelty-free, and I love every other Toms product I've tried. This particular deodorant, however, is kind of terrible. It's so hydrophobic that it takes several several minutes and a lot of soap to scrub it off in the shower. For the same reason, it leaves a waxy stain on fabric, and I ruined two shirts before deciding to stop using it. Zero out of five stars. Would not recommend.

    The only deodorant I use !!!
    Ive had allergic reactions to a ton of deodorants, all of the Secret and Dove products... and the ones that Im not allergic to don't seem to work. But then I found this!! It doesn't cause any itchiness or redness and it works so well. The 48-hour protection is really key.

    This is the best scent ever
    Despite being as expensive as other deodorants, which is kinda exorbitant, this product does it's job flawlessly. I can't say enough good about it. If I'm gonna spend this kinda money on antiperspirant deodorant I will do it here. Also this fragrance is quintessentially the best thing ever. I don't like smelling like old spice or axe, and in the past have gone the baby powder fragrance route. Not any more this is the best

    This is my favorite deodorant!
    Not all of the toms deodorants work well for me but they fill a critical need... deodorant that isn't toxic! We need more products like this. Any-who... this scent is so good it's unreal and this particular one works extremely well! I'll buy it for life hopefully they don't discontinue it.

    I like this brand as well as this product for a couple reasons. The company is ethical and environmentally responsible. I like the product because my arms do not break out when I use it even when I use it every day like in the summer. It works well, I work with people so it needs to.

    List all essential oils!!
    I checked the ingredients before buying this. I checked the ingredients again when I opened it and thought I smelled lavender oil. I searched the internet confused after I applied it and found myself having an allergic reaction. The only place "lavender" is listed in any form is in the reviews on this website. It should be listed under "fragrances" not only on the packaging but also in reviews. Allergies to lavender and other essential oils exist. Just because it's natural does not make it safe to omit from the packaging.

    So many all natural products miss the mark and don't do what is intended. Believe me, this Northwoods deodorant is the bomb. It works like a charm all day and then some, smells great, and my girlfriend absolutely loves the smell, as do I.

    It smells great and last throughout the day. But....every time I get to an inch of product left, it breaks off and I lose 20% to the trash can. Need to work on that!

    Not what I expected
    Tom's OF MAINE Men's North Woods Antiperspirant promises to keep you smelling fresh and keep you dry with 48 hours protection. It's non-irritating, free of petrochemicals, and made with sustainably sourced aluminum (which leaves a smaller carbon footprint). Plus just like other Toms of Maine products it contains no artificial ingredients, no preservatives, no animal ingredients, and it's never tested on animals. I love the way men's deodorant/antiperspirant smells, so I decided to try this one before my husband used it. It has a nice strong fresh herbal scent, that fades away rather quickly. It's an extremely sticky/tacky antiperspirant that doesn't apply very easily. Halfway through my workday, it had to be reapplied because it didnt provide the odor protection that I need or expected from this product. It definitely doesn't provide 48 hour odor protection or even 24 hour odor protection. I only used/tried this antiperspirant once and wouldn't recommend it to another male or female adult. Although, I think it might work for preteens or older kids. I received this product complimentary, for testing purposes, but all opinions are 100% my own.
