Effective and Nice Smelling Product
I have used the Calendula product for over 10 years due to a sensitivity to most deodorants. It is effective and pleasant smelling without being overpowering or offensively detergent or cologne like. I work in the food industry Trouble is....its becoming difficult to locate this product in New Jersey as is my second choice...the Lemon Grass! Please don't discontinue these products and keep up the with the distribution! thanks

Disappointed with the scent change
I've been using Soothing Calendula deodorant for at least 18 years. I'm a massage therapist and I get hot and sweaty all throughout my day. This deodorant has always worked so well. I apply it in the morning and I'm good for the whole day. I always thought the scent was pleasant with a mild botanical fragrance. It seems that along with the packaging they also altered the scent. It now smells perfumy and sweet. Gross. Please change it back. I'm so disappointed and will not purchase again.

    Impressed BUT doesn't last as long for me.....
    Well, as a female, I've had the worst luck with deodorants since childhood. Start out with one and it either works for a few days, or a week or if super lucky a month, then POOF done finito overwith. After many years, I had finally found Old Spice soft solid that praise be worked like a charm (not all odors though), but in recent years have been on a health train and want to eliminate any and as many bad products as possible from my lifestyle as I can (not easy). I started with Toms Calendula deodorant and have been pretty darn impressed. Now, it definitely DOESN'T last 24hrs as the bottle says, for me it's about 8-10hrs max. So that is a huge downer. But like I discovered with other brands in the past, maybe just maybe it could be just that odor. So I will try different ones to see and hope for the best. Ultimately it does smell wonderful to.

    My preferred natural deodorant
    I really like this product. The scent is great and doesn't smell like chemicals like perfume and other deodorants do. I do find that I have to reapply 1-2 times throughout the day, which is the only reason I give it 4 stars. I use a wet cloth and clean my underarms (I can't just reapply, because the odorous germs are still there so need to be removed), then reapply. If I don't, I start to notice that I have flowery scented underarm odor after a few hours. I'm fine with dealing with having to reapply if I have peace of mind that I'm not using an aluminum or petroleum based product and it only takes a few seconds, so it's no big deal. I'm also trying to live a more environmentally conscious life, so will be replacing other products with Toms. I like that the packaging is recyclable for the most part.

    First Natural Deodorant I ever used
    I first tried this Soothing Calendula by Tom's of Maine about ten years ago and loved it. It was the very first Natural product I ever tried in my life, and it won me over! Since then I have never gone back to regular toxic deodorants by the mega corporations. I used this very scent till about two years ago when Tom's of Maine came out with the men's line, in which I switched to Cool Confidence scent by Tom's of Maine. Now Tom's of Main stopped producing the Cool Confidence scent, so I went to Every Man Jack, then I found out they are not as healthy as Tom's of Maine cause they still use a petroleum based propylene glycol. Now I want to switch back to Tom's but I find no men's scent that I like. So this Calendula is what I may switch back to for the time being. It works very well, no residue and never stains anything not even my white organic shirts.

    Best deodorant!
    I've had issues with excessive sweating and severe skin allergies which does not make for an easy combo when choosing a deodorant. It either irritated my skin but kept me fresh or kept me fresh but irritated my skin. This is the only deodorant which has done both! I can get through an 14 hour work day and smell great with no itchy red inflamed underarms!

    i received this for free as part of a sample box and I wasn't sure how well it would work as I have used all natural deodorants in the past that don't work at all. This one is great! It lasts and doesn't smell TOO strong either. Love it! I would highly recommend getting this!
