cute dishes
Very cute dishes, beautiful shade of mint green. They seem to be pretty sturdy. Don't think the edges will chip easily. The design seems too dainty for dinner plates (at least for my crowd), so I plan to use them as pretty serving dishes. The bowl is the perfect size for nuts or a serving of ice cream. They wash up well in the dishwasher.

BEWARE!!! These crack in the microwave!!!
BEWARE. These are poor quality. After I bought these, I had seen a few reviews about this, and hoped it wouldn't happen to me. But it did. I had put scrambled eggs on the plate that had gotten cold and had microwaved for only a total of 40 seconds. And between 30 and 35 seconds, I heard the crack. Really???? After only 30-35 SECONDS??? In this day and time, this should not happen.

    I ordered 4 sets (since they come as single setting). The jade glass is very pretty and hard to find so I felt like the price was reasonable however all 4 sets were a slightly different shade of green. It isn't super important to me but it was disappointing. They feel sturdy. I've been using the bowels in the microwave and they do very well. The picture I've included shows the salad plates and the difference in the color.

    Beautiful Jadeite Dishes
    Love these plates. They are the jade milkglass. They are beautiful design, nice size, and sturdy. I do wish they were microwave safe but that was not a deal breaker for me and I knew they were t when I bought them. The price was amazing compared to other jadeite dishes. So happy with my purchase!

    Plates break when hot food is served on them
    My heart is as broken as these each of these dinner plates. Weirdest thing! I have had 4 dinner plates break while people were eating dinner! Loud crack and the plate falls apart into two halves. I absolutely love them! They are perfect in my 1930s kitchen, but the breaking in two at the dinner table is bothersome. Im hoping I can get a refund. I bought 12 place settings!

    Not microwave or dishwasher safe!
    I absolutely love its color and appearance however very disappointed with the fact you cannot microwave it or put too hot of meals on it! I read the labels and description of product and it does say dishwasher and microwave safe. I had two pieces just break right before my eyes. Customer service was right to just replace it at no cost but the product itself is still very delicate.

    What do I think about the Pioneer woman timeless beauty 3 piece dish set. Let's start with they were shipped quickly and packed well. Who wants the disappointment of opening broken dishes you have been waiting for, right? The color of the dishes are beautiful even though they call them Jade, I would consider them to be more of a sea foam, mint green. The scalloped edges are beautiful and elegant. They have a heavy-duty well-made quality about them even though I did see some imperfections in the painting process. Still, I absolutely love the retro look. Something you would see on I Love Lucy. They do say they are dishwasher safe. I don't believe I would do that. I am sad that you cannot use them in the microwave. I absolutely love that you can buy them in 3 piece sets, but they are available in 12 piece sets. This allows you to buy what you need and when you need them when the budget allows. You can add to your collection throughout the year. I actually think the color variation would add to the charm of the place settings. I don't think I would use these dishes for everyday wear. It would break my heart to see any of these beautiful dishes break. So, if you're looking for something charming, but yet delicate and retro these would be perfect for you.

    I love the color. They are very heavy duty. The shape is pretty. I think they are more form than function. They are great just for show or decorating. Not something I would use for daily dinner were. Not microwavable.

    This dish set comes very well packed and protected during shipping. The negative to this is that the foam packing comes all too pieces while you are removing it. As far as thee dishes themselves, these are the positives: This is a very nice and heavy set of dishes. Comes with a large plate, medium plate, and small but deep bowl. They have a very nice retro look with the jade (light green – think 70s bathroom) color and the scalloped edges around each piece. They almost look like tulips or some sort of sunflower. They are very classy and decorative also. They remind me of a 1970s style of dish but do not feel out of date. Each item has the pioneer woman stamping on it. They come with detailed care instructions also to keep them looking good and last long. They say they are dishwasher safe but I don't think I would recommend it if you don't mind hand washing. The negatives: These plates are very delicate and there are many things that the instructions warn against. They might easily break if bumped against anything or they will easily shatter. Can't use regular utensils on them – have to use plastic, wooden, or nylon or the dishes may scuff and mark up. They are not microwave safe. They cannot be soaked for an extended amount of time. For these reasons, I do not feel they are suitable for everyday use and might be best used just for decoration and display. For these reasons, I would not recommend them for daily use. But, they are beautiful to look at.
