clever little things! Who thought of these?
Sometimes those little things you find can make a project so much easier, better, or more appropriate! These are like that, we have always used those little felt pads with self-adhesive that stick to the chair feet, but inside of no time, they either move from their spots, come off altogether, then they need to be replaced. I think that these swivel nail-on glides will last a bit longer, and they are really better designed than the temporary glides we used to use. They sit at an appropriate angle for the chair legs, and are quite substantial. Make sure that the nail is going in correctly, in line with the angle of the legs, and just bang them on! Rather clever!

To hard to install
We have felt pads on the bottom of our wooden bar stools, which were very easy to put on, their just sticky and you press them on. These nail on felt furniture glides, aren't any better than the sticky felt pads. Their more difficult to install you have to have the right tools, everyone probably has a hammer, but most people probably wouldn't have a flat head center punch. When their installed, the bar stool is wobbly, but once you sit on the bar stool it's not wobbly. We'll stay with the stick on felt pads. I have a cat and hair sticks to the felt pads and these would be to hard to replace when needed.

    No more scratched floors.
Four months ago we replaced our carpet with wood flooring. I needed something on my table legs to keep it from scratching my floors. I found the right product the felt swivel glides. My husband helped me put them on the legs. First he drilled the holes in each leg. He then placed each swivel in the drilled hole and hammered each one in. He was careful not to hammer each in too much. It was very easy to put these on each leg. Now I will never have to worry again.

    they work well
These Felt Swivel Glides work well on my chairs. I have wooden chairs that have angled legs. And these worked great on them. Having the swivel on them makes them set the way that they need to so that the angle of the chair leg is met correctly. Make sure that you have all the necessary tools when you are putting these on. You need a hammer, drill, drill bit, and a punch. It also would help to have a tape measure and a pencil. My chairs had a mark on the bottom of them. So I did not need to measure and mark the center for the pilot holes to be drilled. It took about Ten minutes to put these on my chair legs. My chairs may have had things like this on them before. They went on real easy. I did not have to drill the holes. I was glad that the previous holes had been drilled to the correct angle. With these Felt Swivel Glides on my chair, it moves really easy on my wood floors. They do raise the height of the hair about One half inch. But it does not seem to make a difference when a person is sitting in it. I only give it Three stars because of the tools needed to put these on your chair legs. Not everybody has a drill or a punch. Some may not even know what a punch is. But they definitely need one. If you do not use a punch when attaching these to your chair, you can smash the felt with your hammer.

    Game Changer!
These felt swivel glides are a floor saver and more. I have tried other products but they do not compare to these furniture glides. This is not my first time purchasing these felt swivel glides. I use them on chairs on hardwood floor and tile. They were very easy to install. What you need is a drill bit that is 7/16 of an inch, a hammer, and a ruler. Drill into the center leg of the table or chair 3/4 inch. This is called a starter hole. Make sure to drill In the angle of the chair leg. Once you have the hole drilled you can now place your furniture glide into the hole. Use your hammer and tap it a few times until the swivel cup gets close to the wood. Then lightly tap until this swivel cup makes contact with the wood. It is important that you do not hammer the nail too far, it can damage the swivel mechanism. Trust me I know from the past. I have these felt swivel glides on all my dining room and my kitchen chairs, but I needed some for my craft chair. Finally my chair has gliders. I like how quiet the gliders are. when moving across the floor. I like how the felt pads stay on the glider. I plan on purchasing another set for another chair. I have always been happy with these gliders

    Easy DIY nail in glider
Super happy with the performance of these swivel furniture glides. I received them as part of Sparks Reviewer program. I chose to use them on a chunky ottoman I have that did not like to budge so easily. Moving it around was seriously a bit of a drag! I have tried other means including felt press on gliders with not much luck. I opted not for the cups that set underneath as these legs are chubby and stout. Enter the nail in glider! Problem solved! With just a nudge of my knee or a push of my hand my chunky ottoman glides effortlessly across my linoleum floor. Yippy, yes, seriously as I was ready to retire it (and it's one that has ample storage in it). Easy peasy installation. Directions on back of packaging. Drill a small starter hole in bottom of leg, I used a hole punch which worked just fine. Tap in accordingly with hammer. I used a pair of needle nose pliers to hold nail part in place so I would keep it steady and consistent pressure. Install went smoothly. Tools needed: drill or hole punch, hammer. Pliers optional. Gliders have a generous felt pad on bottom of a swivel cup. Nail head itself is one inch. Sturdy construction. Low profile when installed but keeps the leg up off the floor, bonus for when mopping and no scratches on floor. Definitely would recommend, fits my needs perfectly.

    This furniture glide really works
I was a little concern after trying difference types of furniture gliders over the years; many didn't last long. I'm please to say, that these Swivel Nail on Felt Furniture Glide work very well. Using a drill to start an opening for the nail to be hammered onto the legs, was my best choice. Easy to apply, quite on my hardwood floors. Note: My chair did not swivel once all glades were attached. Yes, I glad that I received this product from the Spark Reviewer program. I will be buying additional Swivel Nail on Felt Furniture Glide for my remaining seven dinning room chairs. The quality of this product is good, a strong nail was used and because of that, I do expect it to last. I was also glad this item was completely assemble and I didn't have to take the time to do so myself.

Made of strong metal with a nice thick pad on the bottom to protect your nice floors. Good product...tough install
I needed these glides due to a chair causing damage to my vinyl plank flooring. I spent a lot of money on this chair and a lot of money on the flooring! The chair legs come up at an angle so just sticking felt pads wasnt an option. Plus...being a high end chair I wanted I nice long term option for this furniture. I was offered these to try and jumped on the chance! I did not realize how much effort the installation would involve!! I consider myself extremely handy (I'm a female that installed 3000 sq ft of vinyl flooring all by myself with no instruction) but this took me a minute! I do not want to do this again! One chair is enough for me. I would not want to do a set of chairs! Ugh. Take your time! To do this you must know how to drill, etc. Not a simple task. After all done it is nice to know my floor is now safe!! Great product!! Just a tedious install.

    good to go
I have a wood dining set and the chairs tend to scratch my wood floors. I have used those mover things but they really collect dust and start to fall off. These things worked perfectly and actually increased the height of the chair a little. Easy to install ... highly recommend
