Great buy best Samsung
Was going to buy note 8 but battery is terrible and phone is fragile so got this instead and love it! Strong with great battery and camera as close to note as you can get with better price, strength and battery

Straight Talk dropped the ball on some features
The Samsung S9 has a 3000mah battery and 4GB ram The Samsung S9plus has a 3500mah battery and 6GB ram both phones do have a micro sd slot up to 400GB so theres a 500mah battery difference and 2GB ram difference between the S9 and S9+

Still The Galaxy to Buy! The S9+
I purchased the Galaxy S9+, and purchased the newer Galaxy S10 for my wife one month later. I have been using both for over a year. The S9+ is much nicer due to the (rear facing) camera being included in a tiny bezel bar. The S10 and newer all have the (rear facing) camera placed in a dot on the screen. Any time you look at a Photo, or even apply a full screen wallpaper there will be a big black dot on it, like you shot a hole through it, or your screen has a very large group of dead pixels. I personally do not like this layout, and I find it very distracting. The S9+ also gives a finger push button image on screen to wake the phone, while on the S10 and newer, you must locate the side button and press it to wake the phone. This is of course if you have all the security Off. If you use the finger print scanner, the S9+ was the last to provide a dedicated little recessed finger sensor port to touch, which was on the rear, and easy to find. This design responded my much faster than the newer design where you press your finger anywhere on the screen. I can't imagine needed to wait for my phone. The S9+ takes amazing photos and i have mounted it on a small scope and captured many amazing wild bird shots with it. Very pleased with my S9+, and my wife wishes I would have bought her one, instead of a newer Galaxy S.

    Internal Ram
I've been a customer pretty much since Straight Talk started and was actually looking to upgrade from my straight talk Galaxy S8 to the S9+ then noticed a review talking about the OS and Ram. After checking around, any other site offering this phone has specs of 6Gb of Ram while Straight Talk is only offering 4Gb along with the OS being subpar. Until a true upgrade is made my S8 works just fine. If needed I can post the specs from the Samsung website. 2Gb is a huge difference when it comes to speed.

Oreo on an $800 phone? No thanks.
I wanted an upgrade from my trusty J5 and looked into the 9+. It has very beefy specs, and Samsung makes a great product but the fact tgat Straight Talk only loads it with Oreo makes it obsolete out of the box. If you invest that much money on basically the latest and greatest it should be able to run all the spps optimally with android's latest version...if not cut the price by half as you've effectively removed half the reason to get the top of the line phone.

    luvin' it
so far i am extremely pleased with this upgrade to S9+. i don't know if the phone is easier to navigate or i have simply learned more over the years. This is only my third smart phone so i keep them a long time. I know some complain about not being able to set individual ringtones for each contact but that was not an issue for me. Love Bixby! I now can simply have him take screenshots and send them for me. I love voice commanding instead of using my touch screen. battery life is long and fast charging is quick when you need it. also love wireless charging. no complaints so far.

    Awesome phone!
Iv had this phone for about a month or so now and looooove it! I had a HTC A9 before and thought I would stay with the HTC so I was kinda nervous getting this phone but I absolutely love it! Would definitely and have been recommending this to everyone!

    Close to note 8
This phone is as close to Note 8 as you could possibly get period and cheaper. I'm glad I purchased it over the Note 8.
