so glad we bought this
great price and amazing quality. we actually bought this because we were having issues with our dog going in the bathroom trash.. it is very good quality easy to use and it fits its purpose! Not to mention the lid is good because with trash it's better to keep the scent inside the trash! I'm really happy with the price and the quality! and my dog can't figure out how to get into the trash can so we are all happy except for her

Lid doesn't fully open when you step on it, so you have to use your hands. It tips forward when you step on it, so my husband put a container of gravel in the bottom for weight, but it still tips forward. Useless if you want to use the step on feature, and I returned it.

    Does the job
    I had this delivered, and it's a little larger than I expected, but I needed it, so I found a place where it will fit. It seems pretty well made. I prefer the kind of cover that swings open instead of a latch, but this is OK. It will probably wear out in a couple of years.

    Nice and functional
    Smaller than I had hoped for, but does its job well. It has an insert that comes out to keep the bag from hanging over the side of the can. The peddle and lid function well. It may hold odors well. I'm not sure, but it looks as if the top closes completely. I really wish they made this in a 5gal size.

    Uses Wal*Mart Shopping Bags
    I've had one of these trouble-free for years in the bathroom. It's size accommodates a standard Wal*Mart size plastic shopping bag. The inner liner provides for completely encompassing the opening while concealing the bag itself while in use. The lid lifts easily by hand or, by the foot pedal and fully self closes when released. Because of the economy of reusing shopping bags, I recently bought four more, two black and two white, for different rooms.

    Nice Garbage Can
    Sleek looking garbage can for the bathroom. Foot pedal works well. Removable plastic liner makes emptying easy. I'm very happy with the size of this product.

    Basic step-on trash cans
    These trash cans are a good size for our use. The lid opens and closes fine and keeps our dog away from the garbage. They are light in weight, so I'm sure our dog could overturn them if they were not situated next to a cabinet and wall. The lid tips and hits the wall when opening. It's unpleasant to hear this, so we've placed it away from the wall and cabinet to prevent contact, but it seems odd to have the trash receptacle so far from the wall.

    It's likely not broken like you think
    If you cant get the step to open it follow these directions - Take out the internal lining bin - Take the thin plastic film that doesn't look like it should be there, off You should be good now. We thought ours was defective but taking this plasic lining off the bottom, step works great.

    I love the size, it's perfect for my bathroom. I love the step on on method and that the lid will keep it looking neat and not expose your business especially when guest come by and use the bathroom.
