A great investment
I received this pump through my health insurance and decided to purchase a second pump for home–I am so glad I did, because there's no worry about lugging my pump home each night so I can fit in a 4:30 am pump at home. I used a different brand with my first child, and I am glad that I went with Spectra this time around for many reasons. While the look of the pump was intimidating initially, the directions that came with the pump did a fine job of telling me what to do, and I found lots of tips + tricks for maximizing output on Instagram. I find that the duckbill valves are superior to any other type of valve, and I've used the Spectra brand valves as well as the valves from other brand in a pinch–both options are great. I love the night light function for my early morning pump sessions! I experimented with various settings and have found the best settings for me, and I like that it starts on those settings when I hit the power button as opposed to inputting my desired settings each time. I pump 3 to 4x/day and have been doing so for about four months with success. I recommend this pump to my expectant mom friends and I'm looking forward to several more months of happy pumping!

Easy to use and strong
I picked this breast pump because it is a closed system and was rated as a strong hospital strength pump. Not disappointed! Reliable and I ended up being an exclusive pumper for 15 months total. Also not too loud so I was able to pump in the same room as baby who was sleeping about 20 feet away. Knocked off a star just because of how big it is but definitely not a deal breaker.

    All around awesome
    As a mother who has exclusively pumped and one who is currently breastfeeding and pumping, this is by far my favorite pump. I have tried many others, including the expensive wearable ones, and this one remains my favorite. It is effective at removing milk, it's gentle, it's quiet and the night light is a life saver.

    Best pump out there!!
    I've used this breast pump all of my 7months so far and I love it. I've got to try a few different brands on the market but this one is the only one I like to use. It empties me better than any others, and with the different setting and speeds you can customize the experience for you to make it the most comfortable pumping.

    Amazing quality
    I am using this as my main pump at home, this is my seconding pumping journey with it and I exclusively pump so it gets used a lot. I pump 4-5 times a day for 30 minutes, my first go around I used it for 6 months and this time I am going on 7 months with no end in sight. I have never had any issued with it and for me the price is amazing for the quality that you are getting. I also LOVE the nightlight on it, I do leave the light on most of the night and has not done anything to the integrity of the pump.

    Best pump!
    Been using my pump for about a month now and it is the best one I've tried (used 2 different brands before this one) I love all the features and levels you can adjust too. This pump gets all the milk out! I love the light it has on it so I don't have to turn on the lights during my night pumping session not to mention how quite it is! I recommended this to a few of my friends that are expecting

    I had to exclusively pump for my twin boys. For me, it was the best decision I made. The S2 may not be portable but she goes wherever I go ;) I plan on pumping for at least a year, it may be longer. It isn't easy but the S2 definitely helped me achieve my goal! She's pretty quiet, even on her highest setting. I have heard louder pumps & this was perfect because it didn't wake the babies no matter how many times I needed to get up in the middle of the night to pump. She is strong and the suction is great. The little light helps a lot, especially at 3am pumping sessions. The S2 is strong & made well because I have dropped her many times & she's still functioning perfectly. It's not heavy at all and can be moved from room to room with no problem. Definitely a great pump to have!

    Love Spectra!!
    I got the Spectra S2 through my insurance. I really liked this breast pump. The design is looks much prettier than most breast pumps. It is also quieter than other pumps I have seen. It works really well and is easy to use. I used it twice a day for over a year to pump while I was at work. I didn't have any problems with it. I also joined their Facebook group that gave lots of great support! When I have another baby, I will definitely choose Spectra again. Maybe the S1 next time since it's more portable.

    Best pump available
    This is hands down the best pump available these days. I've used it regularly along with the PISA and this spectra pump is the BEST. So quiet, I get much better output with this compared to the medela. It's got an automatic timer and light which are great! The S1 is actually better but only for the fact that it has an internal battery.

    Favorite pump
    3rd kid. This is the most comfortable pump I've ever used. I have used medela, evenflow, the first years. I wish it had longer cycles but I just turn it back on after the timer is up so no big deal. It would be nice if this were available in stores and the parts were readily available. I believe it would very quickly take preference over the medela as it is cheaper, quieter, more comfortable, has a higher suction for better and faster output, and is a closed system so it is much more sanitary.
