It's absolutely perfect for larger birds.
It's much bigger in person than in the pictures, I put it together in about an hour and it's perfect for our new Parrot. I would recommend using a wrench when tightening up the nuts to make sure it's secure. We will be ordering another one in a few weeks for our other birds.

Nice cage lot of space but the Guard at the bottom dont catch everything the food still goes all over the floor and my bird keep going down into the bottom

    just remember to buy good hardwood perches to add
    the cage is great,,, but 1 week after my parrot was in it he chewed the ends of the wooden perch,, its softwood Not condusive too a parrots bite,,,,everything else about the cage is awesome/

    Great for smaller bird but NOT sturdy for parrot
    Cage has nice features but is cheaply made. Definitely NOT for parrots such as Amazons, Greys, etc. but would suffice for conures, parrotlets, ringnecks, etc. Perfect for cockatiels and smaller birds. Cage wires are thin and weak and wouldn't even hold some of the perches I have for my African Grey. Had some bends and minor defects upon receipt but not enough to justify returning the cage. Super easy to put together and looks nice.

    Nice big cage and was not very hard to put together. Only issue was I had to bend some of the parts back to normal because they were warped in the box.

    Nice Cage but wraparound doesnt do its job
    We purchased this cage over other types of cages because of the metal wraparound that would catch any falling debris (food/poop) and have it slide into the base tray instead of on the floor. Once we put it together, it became clear that the metal wraparound was not sized correctly and was actually to long for this setup. We could not get the pieces to set into the frame as it was intended to be used as so now when the food is eaten or the birds poop on the edge of cage, all of this debris hits the metal wraparound but then falls directly to the floor as there is a large gap on 2 of the 4 sides. The other issue I have is the play area at the top. If you use bedding material in the tray there is nothing stopping the birds from chewing on it and trying to eat it. There should have been some type of metal grate to go over the tray to keep the birds from accessing the bedding used within the tray.
