Like it but it's got some issues
I like the overall quality and price but had an issue with the manufacturer not fitting the hoop and rim correctly. Finally got it on after forcing it on. Also part of the rim that holds the net busted from shooting hoops, which happened within less than a week of setting the hoop up.

    Great wall-mount basketball hoop!
    Great product... just as advertised. We are loving it! Not quite as sturdy as an in-ground setup, but if wall mount is your only option this is a great choice.

    Great hoop. Needs better packaging.
    Great hoop. You'll need to reinforce your wall. It went over vinyl siding no problem. The packaging wasn't good enough. Backboard was cracked on an edge, but Walmart wanted me to return it. That's such a hassle -- so I just kept it.

    Awesome hoop!
    Very Sturdy! Didnt take too long to install, may have to get more hardware from home depot if you dont have much solid wood behind mounting location. Feels like im in the gym everytime I play basketball! MOUNT AT 122 inches from the ground. I have a slope in my driveway. I took it up just about an inch, so when i fully adjust it, its at about 10 feet 2 inches. I marked exactly 10ft on a spot on the pump so next time I can visually see without getting measuring tape out. But other than I love it. Im a carpenter so I suggest you get a local handyman to install. Takes 2 people to attach backboard to rim once mounted. Defenitly got my moneys worth. About to order hoop light.

    Eh, it's “okay”
    The two top bolts on the lower arm were welded crooked, so it was a chore to get it onto the backboard. One of the net hooks on the rim was missing upon arrival, and another broke off after first use. Kind of disappointing seeing what I paid. Other than that it it nice

    VERY solid backboard/mount/rim combo
    Very solid and well constructed -- the support infrastructure (all steel) is probably 60 lbs of the 80 lbs of the full set-up. There are only eight connection points for connecting to the building (and they are spread out ~ 4 inches from one another on each of the four connection corners, so if you are bolting into 2x4 joists or beams there will only be four points of connection) so we had to reinforce the wall supports that we bolted in to. BUT if you are able to build a strong/solid connection, the backboard doesn't move. The backboard itself is acrylic, but is well-supported by the mounting equipment, and the rim is professional-grade (thick, solid). When installed at 10' and lowered to 8', the backboard sticks out about 2' from the wall surface behind it. The height adjuster is easy to manipulate. We had to purchase some carriage bolts to install onto the wall (they aren't included, and as I noted, we needed to purchase a beam to reinforce the joists in the wall,) so be prepared for a trip to the hardware store to get supplies that you may need. It will be up for a long time, and I would purchase again in a heartbeat.
