It's broken.
The pole arrived to my home this evening and was sticking out of the box and is broken. The entire top of the pole is missing. I'm a little upset, was really looking forward to it arriving and getting to use it.

    Read before you buy!!!!!!!
    To be honest Im not satisfied with this rod its not what I expected, actually very small and useless to me. I actually thinking about sending it back but its very expensive to do so.

    I have fished with these for a few years now, the rods are great! Sensitive and have a backbone to lift the slabs in the boat. Also very durable! Really like the eye system on the rod also!

    Great Combo
    Originally, I was going to buy the rod only, and get a nice Pflueger reel to go with it. But for 10 extra bucks I figured what the heck. I love the rod, I got the 9' as I do a lot of shore fishing. It worked fine in my little boat as well, I was a little worried it would be cumbersome. My only complaint is that you cannot turn off the anti-reverse, as I like to back-reel. You have to rely on the drag. The drag does seem good, so hopefully it won't fail in the future. I bought 2 combos, and love them. Nice and sensitive, I got a bunch of perch last time out.

    All Around Amazing Rod!
    I bought this rod for my 10th birthday for a pole that I could use for panfish. But 7 years later I find myself still using this pole for not only bluegill but bass and the occasional sucker! I couldn't have bought a better rod. The action of the pole is amazing and the reel is dependable when you need it to be most! Overall great combo! I highly recommend it!
