so comfortable
here i thought that this was going to be one of those cheep mattress,, WELL I was so WRONG . when i got it of course i sat on it felt goo i usually like a firm mattress, My siad it is a little springy .Well then i put the dressing on My new bed, look great and it really does. This mattress is great i slept so good ,the next night i also slept great. i don't feel lumps and bumps. Great mattress i will give this a AAAAA+++++thank you THANKYou Spark review

When I was ordering I noticed that they use Posturepedic Technology which I had to do some research about it and I learned that this is exactly the answer to my back problem. This mattress uses additional strength in the middle of the mattress where my body needs more. This was one of the most important fact I chose this mattress because of my husband extra weight around his heap, we always had problem that after a while the middle part of the mattress was not firm anymore and after a while not only we couldn't sleep but since only the middle part softened gradually we would also get back pain. We are using this mattress for about 2 month and the firmness in all areas still the same spite of our heavy weight around our heaps we feel our heavy part of body is supported with ease of movement. I rather if it was a bit ticker. I really enjoy sleeping on this mattress.

    Mattress was delivered by Estes . It is a regular mattress that wasn't compressed. My mattress was delivered and the big full size box wasn't damaged after it's trip across the U. S. Good job Estes ! This mattress is just what I need , Not too soft and not too hard but firm for my spine problem. It's been 2 nights and It's just right.

    Sealy Response Essentials 8.5 Firm Mattress
    I was pleasantly surprised by the comfort level of this Sealy mattress. I needed a twin mattress for the bottom bed of a trundle bed. This particular mattress is recommended for a bed with no foundation, so it was the perfect choice. If you prefer a foundation, there are specific Sealy foundations that are listed for this particular mattress. My main concern was that the mattress might not fit in the lower deck of the trundle bed, but it was actually a perfect fit. It is attractive, well-constructed and very comfortable. I chose the "firm" version and again, it was comfortable and exceeded my expectations. It's good to know that Sealy has lived up to its reputation as a quality mattress manufacturer.

    The firmness needed for a side sleeper
    I just received my sealy response essentials firm 8.5 mattress, very nice I love the look, it was well packaged in durable thick plastic to keep it clean and intact. The color and design very stylish and modern. I could not wait to get it on my bed and get a good nights sleep in it. The mattress was not very heavy, it is sturdy. And I was able to move it myself. I removed my 3 inch memory foam that I had placed on top of another mattress. The mattress top was off white and the sides were a black and off white leaf design, very nice. I love that. The mattress is soft to touch but firm, exactly what is needed for a side sleeper like myself. It's soft but firm enough to take in your body weight and give you that support that is needed for a good nights rest. Now only if they had a pillow just like this mattress. I think sealy did a great job with combining the right amount of soft and firmness together, it's just what I wanted in a mattress . I would definitely recommend this product to others. I have gotten some of the best sleep in these past two weeks that I have had this product. I was really impressed!!

    Mattress from heaven!
    I have been sleeping a mattress for 20 years that was labeled as a firm, but was actually too soft. It was a very expensive bed so I did not have the funds to replace it. This new Sealy mattress is the bed of my dreams. If you like a firm mattress that does not feel like a brick, this is it. My back and hips don't hurt now! So grateful for a new bed

    Delightfully firm and comfortable
    I received the Sealy Response Essentials 8.5" Firm Tight Top Mattress as part of the Spark Reviewer program, but the opinion is my own. I am replacing a a 12-inch foam top, also a Sealy mattress, which was very comfortable but much too hot. Every time I rolled over in the night I had to throw the covers off so that my top side which had been against the foam top could cool off. This Sealy Response Essentials 8.5" Firm Tight Top Mattress IS SO MUCH COOLER THAN THE FOAM TOP. I like a firm mattress and I like not being overheated when I'm sleeping. This is much more comfortable than my previous mattress. In addition, my sheets fit better. I don't care that some of the newer sheets say they fit a 13 inch mattress... They do not! My sheets DO FIT THIS MATTRESS ! While it's very nice to sink into a memory foam top, at the beginning of the night, it is much easier to roll over on a firm top matteess. I am very happy with this Sealy 8.5 inch firm tight top mattress!

    Great Top Mattress
    I could not wait for my new Sealy mattress. The delivery was delayed some but when it came I was not disappointed. My old mattress was past time for replacement, according to the industry rule of replacing your mattress every eight years. I requested the Queen size mattress top for the bed in our guest room since it was the most uncomfortable bed in the house. This mattress top from Sealy is so very comfortable. I think the firmness is just right to cradle an adult's body perfectly without feeling like you are sinking into it. I may be sleeping in the guest room for awhile, getting a good night's sleep.

    Great Mattress for a child
    I received the Sealy Response Essentials Firm Tight Top mattress yesterday via delivery and it seems to be a good quality mattress as I inspected it. I got this Sealy mattress to replace the original twin mattress that I purchased for my granddaughters trundle bed. That thin, cheap mattress was brutal to sleep on if you were over 4 years old. I was pleasantly surprised how thick the Sealy Essentials is compared to the other old mattress. It is basically twice the width of the cheap old mattress. It is definitely a firm mattress but has a nice bounce to it. I prefer a slightly softer mattress but it wasn't uncomfortable at all. I did sleep on this mattress last night to give it a fair review and not rely on the comments of a 3 year old :) Once you settle in to sleep for the night you will notice that you have compressed top padding layers and made contact with the inner firmness. The coil system does give good support and relief for side sleepers which I am. I do prefer a bit more bounce but for a guest bed it does the job. I did not toss and turn all night which means it's a pretty good mattress. Even though it is a firm mattress it gives to allow for the shoulders and hips. It seems to breathe well because I did not wake up hot like I do with some mattresses. The sides are made from a durable woven fabric that grips the fitted sheets a little better than soft sided mattresses. I like the look of it. It does add more side support as well when your sitting on the edge of the mattress the old mattress just sank down and you could feel the bed frame. This seems like it will be a long lasting and good quality especially since it is not going to be slept in every night. Time will tell. But from my first impression and first nights sleep I am trilled I have a better more comfortable mattress for my grandchildren and guests.

    Good for children's room
    The mattress is ok. My son said it is comfortable, he liked the firmness. It is pretty light, I was able to put it on the bed by myself. I believe it will be ok for a child to sleep on, but not sure if I would recommend for more than one person. I also wish it could be reversed, it only has one side so that's not a possibility. Only time will really tell about durability. It seems to be made well amd hopefully last a couple of years.
