Works well and highly recommend!
I have only had this for about a week now but it worked very well so far! I was a bit hesitant because I read lots of reviews and they were not all good! But I ultimately decided to get this over the litter robot because the litter robot also had mixed reviews and I would rather loose out on 100$ vs 600$. So far it is performing very well, my cat took to it right away. She is a little scared of the rake but I think over time she will get used to it. I have not noticed any odor from the litter box, it seems to keep odors down. Overall I am glad I purchased. I am hoping it will last quite a while. I only have one cat I'm not sure how well it would perform with multiple, but for one cat it works very well. I'm not sure how often I will have to change boxes out yet as I haven't had it long enough. From reading lots of reviews it probably won't last a month as it says but hoping to get at least 2-3 weeks out of it.

Nice idea, horrible execution
In theory, this seems to be a great product (I mean who really likes playing in their cats poop box). Anyway, the rake only scoops the top millimeter of little and still misses pieces of poop as the spaces between the rake teeth are way too big allowing poop to pass right through then get smashed behind the rake in the home position. Also, the mechanism that lifts up to store the fecal matter relies upon 2 extremely weak magnets and as you can imagine they slip off and since theres no where for the poop to be stored it gets clumped together at the end of the box.

    Terrible, don't buy!
    The trays are outrageously expensive and have to be changed at least every week to prevent the stench. The crystals don't deodorize. I'll be returning it for the natures miracle brand. It worked much better and didn't need to be changed often. It was much easier to clean.

    BEST LITTER BOX EVER!
    My kitty went right to this litter box. We love it!!! Me: no more cleaning out litter boxes; Kitty: ALWAYS fresh clean litter. It has sensors so when your kitty gets out it starts a 20 minute countdown so the pee and poo has time to dehydrate then it rakes it into the disposal. It has to be setting near an outlet because it has to be plugged in but the cord on the plug in is really long. Easy set up too.

    Container where poop is supposed to be stored doesn't open far enough and gets caught in the rake, causing the poop to get flipped to the opposite side of the rake ending up with it smashed in the back corner. Every other day there are piles of poop smashed into the rake which requires more cleaning than a regular litter box. The litter does not clump and therefore does not rake pee. Lastly, the litter only controls odor (for one cat) at most 2 weeks

    Game Changer
    Game changer for me! I have older kitties %26 have never had to use a litter box until my Tabby was diagnosed with kidney disease %26 needed to go more frequently - my vet encouraged me to get a litter box to make her more comfortable. I really struggled with the scooping, tracking, cleaning %26 huge boxes of litter- this has really made things so much easier!

    So far so good
    I had the older version of this litter box, with the purple lid instead of grey, and it did the job. However, it would squeak when it raked. I like how this one is put together. It's lighter weight and the lid isn't exposed at the bottom where the little would fall through on the older model. Definitely like the upgrade so far! We'll see as time goes. So far, so clean! ;)

    bought this for my handicapped daughter for her cat. I got it put together and the sensors in it did not work, so contacted Petsafe and they replaced it. That one came yesterday and it has the same problem so I do not reccommend it.

    This thing has been a game changer. I haven't had to scoop in over a week, and clean up takes less than 5 minutes every couple of days. The only problem I have isn't with the litter box itself, it's that my youngest cat likes to play in the litter after the rakes does it's thing. This triggers the countdown for the machine to rake again and I have to manually push the button to stop the countdown multiple times a day.

    Not worth money, does not perform as advertised
    The litter/crystals are advertised to last for two weeks for two cats— the crystals last at most one week. Also, the device is designed to rake cat poop from left to right and into a compartment— however, at least half of cat poop just falls right through the metal wires of the rake and remain visible in litter box. It is not all worth the money for the device and especially not for the crystals which do not last for more than a few days. Device does not at all work as advertised. Would %100 explore other options in hindsight.

    love it
    Its so much easier. you only have to remember about it once every few weeks and dont have the smell to remind you its there. for someone with low energy its so great. even switching out the box is easier than changing litter in a traditional box. My cat took a little time to get used to it since its much different than her previous litter. but now its no problem. no complaints.

    Not worth the $
    I've had this for 3 months now and I really wish I had saved my $100. I purchased it, primarily, as I was having back problems and couldn't bend to scoop daily. That problem could have been rectified with a long handled scooper, which I have since purchased. It does do a good job of scooping away poop, most of the time, but the poop also gets lodged in the "combs" of the scooper, creating a problem. And, if you have a cat that tends to urinate in the same spot over and over, you will still need to move litter crystals around the unit when the area becomes saturated, essentially scooping daily. So, it really hasn't been the help I hoped it would be.
