Quality Issue
When I went to pull the cables apart to have them spread open more, the out cover stripped away and now I have exposed wire.

    CCA, not copper
    Description says, "Featuring full 4 gauge copper construction" and "Full Copper construction" but cables say CCA (copper-coated aluminum). These are not bad jumper cables. But the description is misleading. And there is a difference.

    Poor design allows bare copper wire to be exposed
    The cables separated and exposed the copper wires. I believed I had a good purchase... put them in my car trunk until I needed them (for 1 year 2 months. yes, another one of those situations where the purchase date is just a tad over the warranty period). I needed them 14months later and while they were connected and waiting for the charge-I noticed the exposed copper wires. Thank goodness no one was injured by touching the exposed cables during a jump. Walmart only offered to refund me $4 and the manufacture has a 1 year defect warranty. If you purchase or currently have these - i suggest adding a tape wrap or secure the cables at the point where RED/BLACK join together to keep them from separating and exposing the bare copper. They do work as intended. Was able to charge start another car. They are also non-tangle as advertised.

    Perfect long length
    Perfect long length. I can jump a car from over a car length away or from behind. The product pictures were confusing on the teeth. One side is semi circle, one side large spaced teeth, and front small spaced teeth. Love having multiple clamp styles. My older suv I use the semi circle, and my new car the small teeth clamp perfect. I'm going to buy a second set, so both cars are alway ready and get rid of my basic jumper set that came in the kit I got.
