Glad I didn't listen to the negative reviews!
I've only had this for 2 weeks. I bought it for school. I wanted something smaller then the one I have. It's easy to bring back and forth. Since I've been using this, I haven't touched my other laptop. The touch screen is great. I haven't used the pen it came with but I'm sure I'll try it sooner or later lol. I'm very happy with my purchase and I'm glad I didn't pay to much attention to the negative reviews. They almost stopped me from getting it, reading them.

The Hinge
do not by this product. despite its many positive attributes, one flaw effectively negates all of them: the hinge. mine broke through the display, as have so many others. fortunately, mine broke two months before the warranty expired. getting it fixed was not easy, due to a combination of website errors, customer service errors, and my own errors. but i persisted and they did fix it for free.
now for the rest: i bought it due to my positive experience with the original chromebook plus. the intel chip makes the linux sub-os work better than on the original. the keyboard is better than on the original. and i love the stylus, even though i don't use it often.
negatives, other than the hinge: heavy compared with the original cb+ and the display is poorer.

1.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser06/12/2022Dont waste your money.Bought this chromebook thinking it would help me work on my projects on the go, but it's not capable of running more than like 2 apps at a time without crashing. It constantly crashes in the middle of loading nothing more than a Google search, to where I cant even turn it off, I have to wait for the battery to die so I can charge it again and restart. sometimes this will take the whole day, and it's extremely frustrating. the charging cord also barely fits the computer, it constantly comes unplugged in the middle of charging. Refuses to let you connect to public wifi, and when you try to flip to tablet mode, the majority of the apps are reformatted really weird and take forever to load. Wish I could resell it but tbh it's not worth most peoples money.sawyer

1.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser01/07/2022Stop WorkingStopped working a month after purchased, sent it to get fixed. Came back and only worked for 1 day. Then sent it back again to get fixed and they said it was water damage, so the warranty didnt cover it, though it was placed back in the box and never by liquids.Unsatisfied Customer

1.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser12/08/2021Poor in regards to contact an actual personOrdered Samsung Chromebook, upon receipt there is a tape going over the opening. This label stated not to accept if label has been altered. The label was open and I have not been able to get anyone to answer a phone at the local Walmart and in Services stated at the bottom of the order.Terry

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser11/21/2021Excellent laptopi have owned many laptops and chromebooks. this chromebook is excellent. the screen is sharp and bright and excellent viewing angles. the device is very fast. sd card loaded easily. file system is intuitive and easy to manage. touch screen is a nice feature but i dont use it usually. the stylus is very precise. i use google apps for office work and they work perfectly. this is a great, quality product. the petty, and bitter reviews are hard to understand.Poncho

1.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser09/14/2021Hinge problem broke glasslike many, the hinge in this one seemed to lock up, and when it was opened and closed, very lightly i may add, it broke the glass and hinge. good when it worked but i would say samsung needs to recsll these and fix the issue with the hinge.Ivan

1.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser04/26/2021Same battery issue as others mentionedseemed fine, but after a year, device won't power on anymore. the red led light on the side near the power switch keeps blinking, but chromebook will not turn on or otherwise respond. this seems to be a recurring problem with this device, per other reviews i've seen. it was fine up until this point.Rick B

2.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser02/14/2021Got my hopes upi purchased this chromebook because i needed a new laptop to focus on my writing. while it was difficult to figure out, running on apps instead of software and not accepting majority of the programs i needed, i've experienced a lot of issues. it crashes frequently, programs constantly shutdown, at times curser doesn't work, and a lot of space unaccounted for. i am disappointed with this purpose. the only pros i've experienced is it charges fast and hold a charge for a few hours.Kayla
