I was very pleased. After reading the mixed reviews I was a little nervous. Upon receiving the lamp, I was relieved to find that it was what I expected for the price. I wasn't expecting a Tiffany quality lamp, but I was expecting an appropriate gift that would work as a "nightlight" for someone who loves redbirds. What I didn't realize, is that the base has a rose, which is her favorite flower. It was the perfect gift for our grandmother, who's in an assisted living facility...to provide something functional (a nightlight/lamp), that was in the form of something she loved

    Do not buy
    No bulb? $45 and you can't give me a 10 cent bulb? What a crappy gift this was, I will not be making another purchase with your company. What BS that the “gift recipient” now has to go find a bulb. Not happy.

    Disappointing!!
    I returned this. It is not what I expected, cheaply made and not attractive at all. I bought it for a Christmas present for my Mom, and it's so ugly I returned it.
