Excellent accent lighting for potted pla
The lights were very easy to asemble and set up. Make sure the solar panel gets ample light and you will be good to go. I used them in my potted plants near the front of the house and they really add a nice touch. I have gotten alot of positive feedback from my neighbors and best of all no cords and no outlets .[...]

Don't buy these
I've bought two sets thinking I was going to try them on two small Christmas trees in the front yard. I decided to put them out in the sun for a day to see how they would work. The first one never came on at all. The second one came on for about 3 seconds and has not worked again. Looking to see what I need to do to return them. I'd add an image but they don't work....

    ordered 2 and neither worked out of box after charging. found green stuff on battery connection. cleaned that off end charged again and 1 quit after 2 day and will not come back on, tried to contact hayneedle and waited for 30 minutes and know answer/tried to e-mail and after 3 days still no reply. poor service and junk product.

    Love Them!!!
    I recently bought a Glam Ball w/1 LED light. Well of course after it rained it didn't work anymore(even though it said to be used outdoors)!. I bought these and put the lights inside the ball and it looks absolutely stunning! I plan to buy more too :) Thanks for a great product!!!

    Lights in the garden
    The lights look great for any time of the year. We put them in potted plants on the patio and I can look at them for a festive feeling on a nightly basis. I love Christmas lights and now I don't have to wait for just the right season. I will buy more soon.

    I will buy more of them.
    I wound the lights through the lattice of my arbor with gate. It is very pretty at night to show the shape. The difference between the solar lights and the electrical small white lights is that the color is a cold white (solar) vs. warm glow (electrical) and that the electrical lights actually light up the area whereas the solar lights will define a shape but do not really reflect light to, for instance, see the lock on the gate to unlock it at night. I could do this with the electrical lights. However, I love the fact of no cords and no bills, and they look quite elegant at night.

    Needed more than 50 lights
    We liked the lights however we needed additional strands to have a better effect. Also they do not work when the snow is deep. I would not recommend them for areas with heavy snow fall or elevate the solar control.

    no worry decorative lighting
    We strung two strands around a thin tall hemlock fern in our back yard and we love to admire it night. I wish the strands were longer and less expensive but I guess that's the garage saler in me...The lights are small but give out plenty of light and give a clean classic look. We chose the blue lights and didn't regret it!

    Good Stuff!!!
    I decorated a small tree to place at my dad's headstone in the cemetary. The tree was buried under 2 feet of snow for two weeks ... when it re-emerged, the lights still worked and were as bright and beautiful as ever. I am so glad I found a product that allowed me to make a memorable Christmas for him. :) Thank you! (Oh and only red lights were available at the time, but they were still beautiful!)

    Blue Lights are Better Than Red
    I purchased the red lights as well as the blue. The blue lights are much brighter than the red, and the light lasts much longer. This is a great idea for a product, and I will purchase again, but will avoid the red lights. These lights work great when the day is sunny and they get a full charge, but the light doesn't last too long after a cloudy day. That was not unexpected.
