Kick and go!
I got one of these scooters for my 7 year old nephew. And I got really surprised with the quality of this toy. The material is extremely strong but at the same light weight. It was super easy to assemble. After assembling it, I did the Pre-ride Checklist, that is inside the owner's manual. Some features caught my attention— the Foot-Controled Power System Pressure Sensor, the motor will still running if you need to pump the break and realize it fast, the child will not need to kick to Star the scooter again. The folding mechanism is really easy to handle. The gripe tape is very strong which means that will be not wore off rapidly. Make sure that you follow the instructions and charge the battery for four hours as the manufacturer recommends. My nephew is really happy with his new scooter. Btw, I did not forget to buy the safity gear for him to wear.

    Great quality scooter
    Razor is known for being a leader in the scooter industry. For the littles this scooter won't disappoint. It's definitely for younger aged kids because of the weight limit. Preteens are even too big for this one. The style, speed and ease of use seems great for the 8-10 age range. This scooter was easily assembled in 5 minutes and charged fairly quickly. It's a great value for an electric scooter!

    Great scooter for kids <10
    If you have a young kid this is a great scooter. It is a lot of fun for them. The runtime is wholly dependent upon how much weight the scooter has to carry. It will carry a bigger person but the battery will drain FAST. It is nice that when the battery does drain it is easy to use it as just a plain scooter. It does have the ability to replace the battery, which is a nice feature. Overall a good cheap intro to electric scooters.

    Fun little scooter
    Powerful little scooter! My daughter is not your typical 11 year old. She is very tall and well over 120 pounds. I got it anyways because she loves her regular scooter. We let it charge for 4 hours and away she went. On concrete this thing really moves. Brake is easy to access for stopping. I even tried and it was really fun! Definitely recommend

    Kids Love It
    I recently received the Razor 12 volt electric scooter as a review item. The first thing I noticed was that the product was easy to assemble and it required the use of just one tool it, which came with it. After about 5 minutes of assembly time, the scooter was ready for a test ride. I gathered a group of neighborhood children who were eager to take the razor for a test drive. The children ranged in age from 8 to 10, boys and girls. Then children enjoyed the product, based on the smiles and none of them wanting to give up his or her turn. I personally found the scooter to be lightweight and easy for the children to operate without much supervision. As I parent, I would like to have seen more safety devices on the scooter such as lights or reflectors. I have one complaint about the Razor: the braking system. Several children complained that the break did not work well. The razor is compact and folds up very small, so it does not take up much space and can easily be transported in the trunk or back seat of any vehicle. As a parent, I would recommend the razor as a great gift for a boy or girl. Several decades ago as a child, I certainly would have been very happy with the scooter and would have played with it for hours. The only truly negative thing I could say about the scooter is that it was difficult to get the children to give someone else a turn on the scooter.

    Nice for the price!
    A great light-weight electric-powered scooter. I love that this scooter is light, folds-up, and is easy to put together, as well as charge; it doesn't take up much room. You have to push with your foot until you are going at a good pace and then you can let the motor pick up the rest, which at that point it can go up to 10 mph which is pretty fast in my opinion. The grip on the scooter keeps your feet in place and the design is really nice looking. I think this is a great scooter and I would recommend it to friends and family!

    Super fun scooter
    Set up was a breeze. Charged it for 4 hours as suggested , used the included tool to put the handle on and ready to go. This was a fun toy for the whole family. Even the adults were having fun on it. Motor works with simple push of button on side and then once you push off it goes. Going downhill can be a bit fast and uphill you can tell it struggles but overall this scooter has good power and will be enjoyed for a long time. I love how the brake is easy to find and use when needed.

    Fun for small kids but doesn't hold a charge long
    My 8 yr old enjoyed riding this scooter but the battery doesn't last long. It's sturdy and just about the right size for a kid that size and it even carried my 270lbs at a slow pace. The box says it lasts about 25 minutes on a charge which was pretty accurate but 25min just isn't enough time to enjoy yourself. It gets going with just a little push and speeds up the longer you're on it We've had it for a few days and so far it's holding up with recharges. The red brake in the back works quickly and easily. My son intends to use it to ride to school a couple blocks away. Razor makes a good product.

    Nice little electric scooter!
    This scooter is perfect for kids who are looking for something fun to ride! It doesn't go too fast and my son has so much fun going around the neighborhood. We put it together quickly (it's just a matter if inserting the grips and the front handle. The battery needs at least 4 hours to charge (we plugged it in overnight) and I love that you don't have to take the battery out of the scooter to charge.
