Works with my Mesh wifi
The scale so far seems to provide consistent numbers. I purchased a new scale because my old one of a difference brand kept giving me different weights that could range up to 5lbs.Wifi, it pretty clearly states it can't connect to wifi 5ghz. However, I was able to get it to connect to my Verizon mesh system. So far I like the scale.

Shares sensitive data with 3rd party providers
The scale has a good design and reliable sensor. But in order to use the wifi function, you have to accept the privacy terms which includes sharing your biometric data with 3rd parties for “interest-based advertising”.If you don’t want to share your sensitive data with others, you can use it with Bluetooth, which never works except the first time you set it up. If you are buying this scale to keep track of your weight and other biometric data from your phone, don’t buy it or accept that ad companies can also track your progress :)

    Great scale.
    I've had the scale for a few weeks now and have been very happy so far. It couldn't be easier to use, and consistently sends the results to both the Renpho app AND my Fitbit app. It seems to be accurate but I'll know more after my doctor's visit in a couple of months.

    Disappointing experience
    1. The scale is very small and light. I have men's size 10.5 feet and my feet just fit on this scale with no excess room to spare.2. One of the reasons I brought this scale was the clean look w/o the usual 4 electrodes to stand on for measuring body mass/water/fat/etc. percentages. They call the technology used to hide the electrodes as ITO.Unfortunately, the technology does not work very well. This is obviously a known problem because when I first brought it to the attention of the support group, I was told to "apply moisturizer" to my feet, indicating that they had heard of this problem in the past and that this was their solution for the faulty technology.Asking someone to apply moisturizer each time I wanted to do a weighing is an unreasonable request. That isn't something that I was going to do every time before I use this scale! I subsequently discovered that if I misted the scale with water prior to stepping on it in bare feet, I could consistently get the readings I was looking for. But that is still not a good long-term solution as it makes a mess on the scale face requiring wipe down after each use.I consider the scale defective for this reason.3. The app looks nice on the surface but s designed poorly with no consistent UI design. are scattered under different headings on different parts of the app. I wanted to see a line by line listing of each day's measurements o delete one specific day but I couldn't find how (or if) I could do that.4. It takes approximately 12-15 seconds to do a weighing. You are supposed to remain standing on the scale watching the display while it displays weight, draws some boxes indicating connecting to WiFi, then shows BMI, then shows Fat%, then draws a box and writes "Open app". Only then are the measurements completed.5. Support was okay, generally taking about a day for them to respond. There was no formal problem tracking where you are given a problem ID number.

    Great product
    I bought this as I want to measure and monitor the various elements of fitness. I found it fairly easy to set up the app to blue tooth, Wi-Fi and even my Fitbit. I therefore find it strange to read the comments on how difficult this is to do. So far very happy.

    Love the Bluetooth app. Leave the iPad in other room
    Mostly I like this model tocheck varies stats without having to turn on my iPad and bring it in the bathroom. The Bluetooth stores the data on device and when I turn iPad on Renfro app gives me alert to see new data. I then can manually transfer data to my fitbit device

    Works, but wish I had bought the lower priced model instead
    I’ll admit, I chose this model for its looks, not understanding the technology. I wish I had purchased the lower priced model. You see, in order to get all the body readings (except weight), both feet have to sit on the metal plates. The other model has four plates making it easy to touch them all at once. This more expensive model, however, has only a small plate near the center….at the point where the arch of my feet rest. In order to touch that plate with both feet at once I have to stand with either my heels or toes hanging off the edge. .. not very safe or comfortable, and probably affects the accuracy.As a scale alone, it is great. It is small enough to fit between the cabinet and the toilet so it is not in the way or a trip hazard. I have poor eyesight but this is very easy to read. It seems to be accurate; stepping on multiple times gives the same results.
