Better than the old one.
I purchased this to replace an old Presto griddle that was at least ten years old. The new one with the ceramic coating seems to have a more uniform heat across the entire surface. I definitely prefer the ceramic coating compared to the non stick coating . The ceramic coating is worth the five dollar up charge. Would recommend this purchase.

I purchased the ceramic surface just under a year ago and around a month or so ago, it started sticking around the area of the heating coil. The ceramic started getting a burnt look to it that was not stuck on food, but the ceramic itself. By the time I gave up on it, even putting down oil did not keep things from sticking (you can see the remnants of the last eggs cooked on there in the photo). I loved the design of the griddle. It solved the issue my household had with previous griddles where the drip tray would have its wings melt and drop out of the griddle, so I ordered the nonstick version. Now, technically the item description does tell you this, but I didn't think to look, since they are the same model: the nonstick one is four inches smaller! I haven't used it yet, as we are still determining whether to return it and replace it with a larger griddle, but you can see the size comparison in the photo.

    Very satisfied with this purchase
    Just the right size for us for cooking breakfast. I had a larger Presto one for years more than they are supposed to last so I knew it was time for a new one when it took over an hour to cook bacon. This new Presto cooks well is easy to clean and takes up less storage space than my prior Presto. There are 3 of us.

    Great griddle and highly recommend.
    Awesome griddle. Nothing sticks and you don't have to use oil or anything to make sure of that. I love it so far. Seems like even cooking. Be sure to not use cooking spray as it warns it will make the surface sticky! Use olive oil if you feel you need something to help it not stick. Love that it is healthier alternative to the teflon.

    Great for one/two people, stores easily.

    It's a great, small sized, good for 2 or 3 in a family sized griddle. Non stick so no greasing needed. Small that it can be stowed away easily n a great price

    I absolutely love this griddle.
    I love this griddle, it heats evenly, holds the temperature, cleans up easily and there is no sticking. I love to bbq chicken breast on this griddle. The sauce caramelizes and will get a little crunchy around the edges where it is cooking on the grill, but there is no sticking and it has not stained. It is so good. Browns nicely

    great griddle
    Had same brand only smaller for 20 years so when it broke so far that I just couldn't use it anymore I finally had to buy a new one. This was in my price range so I got it. Only used a few times so far but just love it. I seasoned it like instructions said and cooked three batches (8 each) of pancakes and nothing stuck. When done wiped it with a paper towel and stored away. Should probably just leave on counter as I will be using this for more than just pancakes. If you need a griddle this is the one to get. You won't be disappointed. Have always been happy with Presto products.
