So convenient and easy to use
Our house was overrun with bulky and messy power strips. This 5- outlet siege protector plugs directly into your wall which has eliminated the wire mess underneath all of our media consoles. This plug has been great!- it gives you peace of mind knowing all of your electronics are protected, looks neat and stylish in your house, and it's super easy and convenient to use its smart features. We connected the Philips outlet to our Amazon Alexa. The app was easy to download- then we just followed the onscreen directions and had two smart plugs connected in 5 minutes. My son absolutely loves using voice commands to turn in our lights but you can also use your app if you wish. There is even a WiFi indicator to show you easily if there is connectivity. We love this outlet and plan on adding more to our home.

Surge Protector with WiFi Capability
At the onset, I really liked the WiFi and surge protector concept all in one. After working with the product, I had a difficult time finding a location in my house where I need surge protection and WiFi capability in the same location. I want my lamps on WiFi so that I can control their timing cycles. However I don't need surge protection on them. Also, with 5 outlets on the unit (3 always on and 2 WiFi controlled), I do not understand the need for them all together. I was going to run other lamps to the unit with extension cords however the directions clearly state not to do that. Once plugged in, you then need to download the app and set up the WiFi outlets. I found this to be a difficult task even though it should be simple. The unit had to be setup as a wifi address initially before it would allow a Bluetooth connection to be established. Once set up, it wasn't real clear how to set up a schedule. After the first day of the lamp not turning on at the correct time, I figured out how to set the schedule. So overall, I was not too impressed with the product and the set up. It does work fine after you work through the setup. I am just not sure of the value it brings to your house.

    I am truly impressed with the quality, durability and functionality of this smart outlet. I absolutely love that this is a surge protector so I know all of my devices I have plugged into it are safe; and with the built in led light I feel really secure. I also like that it is a wall hugger so it makes my living room still look clean and not a strip that lays all over my floor. This outlet is amazing I do not have one bad thing to say about it, I like that it has 2 wifi outlets that I can use through an app linked to my google mini, but also can use them as normal outlets as well. Set up for the 2 wifi outlets was super easy with the step by step instructions and took all in all like 5 minutes. I would definitely recommend this outlet to anyone who is looking for a replacement to the power strips or for someone looking to have wifi capabilities in their outlets as you will not be disappointed by this one.

    I love the Phillips 5 outlet smart plug plenty of room to plug multiple Items and also accessible with Amazon Alexa and Goggle assist. It is easy to use and also had a built in surge protector. It is voice activated as well with wifi connection

    Philips 5-Outlet Smart Wi-Fi Surge Tap is a must have for those stormy days where there is a potential for lightening. This plug in even offers a $25,000 replacement warranty if lighting hits your house and this plugin fails to protect! Wow! It also works great with Alexia when you are away and needs your lights turned off or on, or TV/radio for your pets! This is a true must have!

    A space saving and practical outlet
    If you're like me and never have enough plugs around your house, I highly recommend this Philips smart outlet. It has all the functionalities you need, looks great anywhere in your home, and gives you peace of mind knowing that it protects your electronics. If you're not tech savvy, don't worry. This unit is super easy to set up and use. Even if you don't want to use the two special smart outlets, you don't have to. You can use them just like regular outlets. Either way, it's really nice knowing that whatever you plug into it will be surge protected. No need to worry about any of your electronic getting damaged. In our home, we connected the Philips outlet to our Amazon Alexa. I downloaded the app on my iPhone, followed the onscreen directions, and was able to have the two smart plugs connected in under 5 minutes. The app is very user friendly and will walk you through step by step on exactly what you have to do. After the setup, it's also nice to keep the app on your phone and use it to control whatever you plugged into it. You can also control it using your voice and Alexa. There's also a WiFi indicator on the outlet that'll let you see if there is connectivity. We have two toddlers who use the voice feature constantly. They love turning on the lights in the room using their voice. We also plugged in a fan to one of the smart outlets and use our voice to turn it on and off. One last aspect that I love is it's classy and sleek design. I find that power strips get messy and don't look great scattered on the ground. This 5-outlet surge protector plugs right into your outlet and allows you to plug directly into it. It's not bulky and blends nicely into our white walls. There is a lot to like about this Philips smart outlet. If you're looking to tidy up your space, have fun with voice controls, or just want peace of mind knowing your electrics are protected, this is for you. Whatever the reason, you'll be happy with this quality product with the reputable Philips brand name behind it.

    Perfect for my Home
    Came across the Philips Smart Select WiFi Plug-in tap with surge protector. This Plug does so much! 2 WiFi outlets that connect through Bluetooth that works with downloaded Philips SmartSelect app & Alexa or Google. You can set timers and have light turn on/off with voice command or via SmartSelect app. It also has 3 always on/off basic plugs. I was looking for a timer. This does so much more.

    Works well
    Philips Wi-Fi Plug-in Tap is well made and works well. It comes with a short instruction, which contains the QR code to download the app needed. It took some time to connect it to my phone, but it was pretty easy. The tap has 3 grounded outlets, 2 Wi-Fi outlets, 3 light indicators, and a manual/program button. The app is easy to use, and looks very simple. I would recommend this product for others.
