Wow Very Surprised!!!! :-) :-)
I first hooked this up in my bedroom one morning while I was getting ready and as I played it I thought this doesn't sound any better than if I just played it through my iPhone speaker and was ready to send it back. But then I though this can't be right after reading the other great reviews I thought something must not be connected right and sure enough it was my stupidity. I didn't hit the power buttong to turn the thing on, but once I did that, WOW the music blasted from this little circle of power and it was great sound quality and my iPhone played some of my favorites songs while I got ready for work. For the money this things really plays some nice sounds. Yep get it, I think it was work the money.

Great speakers for the price
Really enjoying these speakers! Got them real quick and have used them nonstop. Very portable and has Great sound. The battery or plug in option is also a huge plus, not always able to reach an outlet and so great not to have hunt for one!

    Bought this for my 10 year old for her room as a charging dock and speaker system. she loves it and so do i. great sound for the size. i will be buying one for my room. didnt' give it a full 5 stars only because it is a little weird looking and the design is not my style, but it is a great value.

    I am so pleased with my Philips Rock-n-Roll Speaker Dock for my IPod Touch 4th Generation! Because of it's size, I find myself moving it from room to room!! Great sound and because it "Rocks" I can change the viewing size from horizontal to vertical!

    Looks nice w/ good sound quality for decent price.
    I bought these speakers for my dorm-style apartment. It fills the apartment with sound and looks great. I didn't expect there to be a plate to fit my iPod touch, since it's not the newest generation, but there are plates for both the newer and the older generation of each model. The sound quality is great and I haven't had any problems with it thus far. It did take a while to ship, but was in good condition when I picked it up at the store. Overall, I'm very satisfied with my purchase and would recommend these speakers to anyone who is looking for good sound for a lower price.

    Great for the price! I just needed something to play my IPod without earphones at home and when I travel in a hotel room. The speaker quality is very good in a room for casual listening, but not for a party of people where the party noise level will overpower the speaker. It IS only 1 speaker. The ability to turn the bass on and off is a plus for me. It is portable and small enough to pack and carry. I only wish it had a remote :).

    Great Portable Speaker
    Perfect for outdoor use - great sound and volume. It has the ability to plug in all the varieties of "i-music". I got it to use with my itouch to have music to sing along with around the campfire this summer since none of us know how to play guitar! It does have the option to plug in but the speakers are not as high quality as other indoor systems. Very happy with my purchase.
