I'm Impressed!
This is a powerful shaver that gives a very close, comfortable shave. The contour heads work particularly well. I have sensitive skin, and this shaver worked great for that also. It charges quickly, and comes with a handy cover to keep the heads protected when not in use. Overall, I am really impressed with the quality of this shaver! Long time Norelco user - so far so good
First shave was good, equal to previous similar Norelcos. Klugey - why they squared off all design elements is a puzzle. Squared handle makes it a bit more difficult to maneuver, and larger square-eared head makes it more difficult to reach all facial features. Button is placed where hand is holding the unit. Why? Seems like the engineers who designed it were never required to actually use it, which is a big mistake. The motor seems to be operating at fewer RPMs than previous similar models, but there did not seem to be any performance degradation from this. As a result, it is quieter than my previous model Norelco. The pop open head is easy for cleaning, and the pop up trimmer is more convenient than a separate head, as with some other Norelcos. At $50 this seems like a good buy, but time will tell.

    I purchased this norelco shaver from Walmart on sale,it's an upgrade from an older norelco shaver. I like the close shave it gives you,Holds charge pretty good ,3 bar indicator as to "charge" remaining.Nice shaver ,very satisfied.

    The saver has just what a need
    I got it because it saves up close 2 year warranty,and a mustache trimmer and just got today and it was changed for one shave and it did save close like the book said

    Great shaver. Horrible shipping method.
    This shaver/trimmer is very good just fully charge it before you use. It goes all around the grooves of your face. I didn't like however the shipping of this product to me! it arrived with a very damaged box the shipping box itself looked like it was stomped on. also the product box was opened looked like they went through it and taped it back together but everything was there. I was very disappointed at the shipping and handling method. There has been three packages that has arrived like this. But this will be my first complaint. If it continues to arrive in a very damaged horrible way I will definitely keep complaining; more like I will no longer purchase using the shipping method. ZERO STARS FOR SHIPPING.

    Great shaver for everyday use.
    I got fed up with all the foam and mess of a regular blade razor for everyday use, not to mention the cost of the blades. I did a little on line research and came up with the Phillips Norelco as the best option and value for the price. I like the ease of use and it gives a very good shave, not as close as a blade, which I will still use for special occasions but more than close enough for daily use. Overall I'm delighted with this purchase and would highly recommend to anyone that simply wants a quick, very acceptable shave.

    Absolutely Smoothest Shaver Ever!
    I wish I could go back in time and buy this shaver 10 years ago. This is probably the 5th electric shaver I've had in 15+ years, and it is by far the best. I've usually stuck to shavers in the budget range but this one looked like it had some cool features, and I'm not a poor college kid anymore, so I went ahead and got it. Why did I buy cheap shavers for so long? The blades glide across my face so easy, its SO SMOOTH! I've not had a single hair tug with it, granted I'm not the fastest shaver. The first time I shaved with it I realized I'd just been sitting there doing the same side of my face for like 5 minutes because the warmth, smoothness and vibration felt so good that I just zoned out. Dry only shavers have always been such a pain to clean. But this wet/dry one is so easy, you just pop it open and run the water through the head. The indicators tell you how the battery is doing which is a nice touch. It's sleek, it's fast, and it feels great on my face. My only regret was not buying this a long time ago.
