Gorgeous... absolutely!
Its sturdy, functional, eye-catching design made this skeptic a believer! I received the partly assembled boxed item yesterday. Funny, it's squirrel baffling! I sat near sunroom windo yesterday watching native birds feed. My neighbors are envious wanting their own now!

    Squirrel proof, maybe, but not chipmunk proof.
    We put the feeder out yesterday and the birds have not found it yet. we hung it right beside the other bird feeder. but look who has found it and has no trouble eating from it.

    I just can't win.
    Well, the birds are eating from the feeder. So that is good. But so are the squirrels. I can actually hear the sqirrel release the lever when he needs more seeds. At least the squirrels have not yet figured out how to dump all the seed.

    Shipped fast, nice construction, the only reason it gets a 4 instead of a five is the squirrel bar adjustment is either really stiff or to loose and the birds push it down

    Love it!
    So easy to adjust the spring tension on the hopper, unlike my other feeder. Easy to fill. Looks great. And seems to be working - the black squirrel is frustrated. I especially like that it comes with the attachment to mount on a pole, which I have now ordered.

    Cute and squirrel proof
    I bought this because it said it was squirrel proof. And it is! But the squirrels try like crazy and that is just as entertaining as the birds. The squirrels hang upside down from the tree branch as they try to get at the bird seed so I bungee corded the roof to secure it because one of the squirrels did manage to pop it off.
