Perfect!
Just received my futon today. First off, it was super simple to put together. Easily took 15 minutes. Everything is pretty straightforward. Like the different possible layouts - sun lounger, bench, daybed, etc. We have a small balcony so its perfect when it needs to be smaller when we are grilling or larger when I just want to lay out. The cushions are quite firm, but for outdoor seating I anticipate this will also make it durable. Just the first day, but so far so good!

Excellent for the price despite some minor issues
This daybed is made of real acacia wood, is very sturdy, and looks great. The daybed was delivered well packed and in excellent condition. The instructions were well written and assembly was extremely easy. I am subtracting one star for the following items. 1. The color of the pillows and cushions is darker than shown in the photos, being a medium gray with a slight lavender tinge. 2. The wood is also not gray, but a medium, matte brown. 3. The pillows, cushions, and wood frame all look good, but I think the description and photos in the listing should be more accurate. 4. There was also a very strong petroleum odor from the daybed set, which took overnight to dissipate. 5. The seat height is a bit short, but I put the daybed on 3-inch riser blocks, which I knew I would need to do before I bought it based on the dimensions of the daybed. I am 6 feet tall, so the seat height may be OK for people shorter than that. 6. The seat cushion is very stiff, which is OK for sitting, but not for lounging and sleeping. I will be adding a down alternative fill mattress topper over the seat cushion to soften it. Although that is a long list of items that I did not like, they are individually and collectively not very important to me, hence the deduction of only one star. Overall, this daybed is excellent for the price, and looks great in the living room of my coastal cottage style condo on the Gulf coast (see photos).

Once you take it out the box it is literally like 5 - 6 screws and that was it. The cushions are completely comfortable and the wood is the perfect color. If you are looking for nice, sturdy porch/patio furniture then order this today and maybe a couple of extra throw pillows to add some color. Luckily the second one came in good condition. The quality seems to be really nice for the price and it is comfortable as well. Walmart was easy to deal with on the return and replacement, so I would definitely recommend this to someone looking for a nice seating option. Water beads off the pillows, which is nice so that they don't get saturated when it rains.Kristen
