AWESOME Oklahoma JOEs BBQ Grill
If you are looking for Charcoal Grill not Gas this is the Grill for you. Heavy duty Quality product. It was perfect for our small backyard. Easy User Friendly Instructions. Make sure you follow all the steps plus prime your BBQ Grill before use it will make it last longer. If done right this will be your last and longer lasting BBQ Charcoal Grill.

Not Happy With Quality.
this grill had one bad dent on the lift side, bolt did not fit one side only. then i find out i paid $27.03 more right know you can buy it for $169.97? one of the legs had a bad dent and the front was bent wrong, table part to high.

    Nearly perfect.
    For starters this thing is actually REALLY easy to assemble. One size bolt, one size nut. Now the ONLY hitch (pun intended) is the lack of a thermometer on the grill itself. Also if you plan to use it with the Barrel as a smoker, part time... buy the extra quick connection kit over on the OK Joe's site. That way you can still use them independently without a ton of work.

    How could this be?
    Bought this and cooked on it one time took cover off to cook second time and rust at the hinges smoke pipe and dampers. How does a covered smoker rust after one use.

    pretty solid weight is right they only issue with a smoker, is that we couldn't attach the chimney smoker so we have to contact the dealer, for them to send us a new chimney. Paint looks ok and pretty good for the price.

    solid cooker one little flaw...
    found a broken weld right out of the box although i believe it will work fine nonetheless see attached pics. everything else looks good. have not cooked on it yet but it is a good looking very solid cooker...cant give it a 5 though because it wasnt perfect...

    Definitely disappointed and dissatisfied. Passed on other cheap / thinner smokers for what i had heard was quality from Oklahoma Joes. I purchased this along with the OKJ Barrel grill to use as a smoker and was very happy to notice the reduced price. But now I know why the price was lowered. not even ~30 minutes into seasoning the smoker, the paint splits straight down the middle on the left side of the firebox in a literal line and then proceeded to bubble and peel outwards. This then also started at the top of the firebox above the lid. The paint split from the box in a straight line and started peeling back. So now on my first day of use. I have raw exposed metal on one entire side of the Hitch / firebox and another side is already starting to peel back. So if i want to keep this from rusting out. I now have to uninstall the whole firebox from the barrel grill, sand everything, and repaint it. Additionally, the smoke stack on the actual barrel grill itself had the most sorry excuse for welds and was completely useless as delivered and had to be sealed with RTV silicone to even function. You would think they would actually weld around the stack and not just at 4 points around it (pictured below you can see all the gaps around the stack and its plate). leaving space for air and smoke to exit all around.... Overall I was extremely disappointed in my first OKJ purchase, as I had heard so much good about their quality of finish and product. But it seems what I received was anything but.

    Very impressed so far.
    Great grill for only 197 bucks. My barrel grill showed up in great condition, no dents or scratches. Door seals pretty well and overall the grill feels heavy duty. I followed instructions and seasoned the inside with veg. oil and heated it for hours. Good even heat and easy heat control. I already grilled excellent steaks and 3-2-1 ribs which turned out awesome. I'm very happy! Maybe down the road I'll covert it to an offset smoker but not yet.
