Always find coffee in recycling bin
After I had this about 2 weeks the machine started dumping coffee into the recycling bin. I called the help desk and he told me to clean the pot. He told me to stick a toothpick or paperclip end in the place where the pod goes to clear out any coffee residue. Neither one of them fit in the hole. He then told me to run very hot water through the machine by pressing the brew button 3 times. After I completed that I tried to brew the coffee. The first cup came out ok but the second cup only filled up 1/2 way and emptied into the pod recycling bin. Thtis continues to be a problem. My daughter has machine and it has never done this. This makes a great cup of coffee when it goes in the cup.

The Vertuo Next needs to be recalled.
This is an excellent machine.. when it works. This is my 2nd one in just over 4 months, both stopped working. The machine would try to warm the water, and two flashes of orange light and then solid blue. This is frustrating and after researching, tons of people have had the same issue. This has got to be one of the worst model and should have never be allowed to be on the market. I don't recommend this model and hoped that Nespresso pull this from the market.

    stay away from this machine
    Received this machine as a Christmas gift last year and only had it for about 10 months now and i have nothing but malfunctioning issues. The machine will never finish brewing a full cup of coffee, troubles getting it out of descaling mode, the top spinner needle is always getting stuck, coffee always comes out cold and now and the power is declining....love the coffee when the machine worked correctly for about 2 months i guess.

    Great coffee, but prepare to get a new machine
    I bought this Nespresso and thought the coffee tasted great but am on my second machine in 2 weeks. I am going to need a new one again because after 1 week, the machine empties the entire water tank into my coffee cup and shakes and spews water everywhere. Disappointing

    On machine number 3
    I had bought my Vertuo Next 3 months ago and the first time I received my machine I plugged it in and it didn't work had to call customer service and they sent out a second one now here I am 3 month later had to call again because I have a blinking purple light and it won't brew my pods also it is leaking big puddles so customer service is sending me out another replacement. I love the coffee otherwise I would go back to my Keurig. It is a darn shame… hope this 3rd machine lasts without any issues! I want to add that customer service for Nespresso is amazing they are quick and diligent at getting your issues resolved in a timely manner.

    Stick With the Classic Model
    This model offers nowhere near the performance of our previous Vertuo! The dial that closes and locks the lid is SO hard to turn. The lid needs constant cleaning, or the pods will stick and not eject properly. The receptacle for used pods is much smaller than the classic machine and it accumulates so much liquid that it leaks onto counter if not emptied almost daily. The water capacity is less than the orignial version, which does not make sense for a machine that brews a carafe size serving. Also seems louder to me than the original model. I should never have given that one to my daughter LOL! Definitely going back to the other style because Nespresso makes the BEST coffee!!

    Orange flashing light / Worst Machine EVER
    We replaced our old Virtuo machine with this piece of junk, alas. Within a week, we were googling how to make it stop flashing orange—which is something it does every couple of days. It's less than a month old. I mean, seriously? Would not recommend this machine to anyone.

    Going on my 4th machine in 1 year
    Like most other reviews, the design is flawed and works well only for a few months at a time. After my first replacement, it worked well for 6 months and then the light would turn orange and not brew. Nespresso had the nerve to send me a refurbished machine, which only lasted 2 weeks before it would over brew coffee and leak everywhere. Prior to issuing replacements, I wish they would save everyone's time with troubleshooting. Nothing ever works and they clearly know this machine is flawed and should be improved or removed.

    Not Worth The Money
    This nespresso machine was a gift to me for my birthday and I was super psyched to make good use of it because I'm such a coffee drinker. The machine was great at first until I ran into the first issue. Water kept leaking out of the water capsule and to this day, I'm still unable to figure out why. I made sure the water capsule was securely in its place but water would still leak out. There was one time when my kitchen counter and floor was flooded with water because of the leakage. Extremely frustrating to deal with first in the morning when you just want to enjoy a nice cup of coffee. Second and most frustrating thing of all is that there were multiple times when the machine wouldn't brew the coffee. I've gone on Nespresso's troubleshooting page for my machine and followed the steps to clean and reset machine to factory mode but nothing would fix the issue. The only thing I noticed was in order to fix the issue was to not use the machine for a while. I've reached out to nespresso several times but the ball was dropped and no real solution was offered to me. Now, I'm stuck with the same issues since Friday where the machine wouldn't brew. I would not recommend this machine since there are so many defects to it.

    Great coffee, garbage machine.
    The coffee is amazing. It's the best in-house coffee I've had from a machine. The machine on the other hand is pretty cheaply made. My first machine lasted from November to July. My second machine lasted 2 1/2 weeks before it broke. I highly recommend looking into a different machine.
