Shockingly Good
Simply outstanding and very well may be the best available flywheel blaster on the market right now for the price. I was apprehensive about this blaster not being a huge fan of the unorthodox side magazine but I was blown away. As it stands, this one is in my top 5 for best nerf blasters ever. For the record that is (1. Nemesis, 2. Stryfe, 3. Hera, 4. Evader, 5. Rapidstrike)
Pros:
1) Well above elite average of 70 feet per second. On new batteries this will easily hit an average of 77FPS accurately. Simple battery mod will boost it further.
2) Trigger pull is extremely smooth
3) Ergonomics are exceptional - very light weight, grips are accessible to both child and adult hands, easy to maneuver and easy for younger nerfers to handle and use. (My 4yr old boy has no problem with the operation of this)
4) Tactical rails galore, barrel and stock attachment points that work with all of your current Nerf attachments. Your unusable stocks from nerf now work! Normally too short stocks are the perfect length on this stock attachment point.
5) Again, I am not a fan of a side release magazines but based again on the ergonomics and location of the magazine release you will generally have faster reload. It's in the perfect spot and quick to release.
6) Stock flywheels are balanced and very accurate. Nerf darts are trash - new adventure force waffle head darts are outstanding and cheaper. In this blaster they are exceptional.
Cons
For some the transparent look of the blaster will turn you off. Paint it then! It's an easy palette to work with and I can't say this enough, it is outstanding.
I am reading a lot of reviews complaining about batteries. Seriously? Most come with Duracell batteries already installed and in terms of nerf battle competitive play - flywheel blasters are far superior to spring powered blasters and it's not particularly close. Nothing against springers, they have there place....as a sidearm. Right now with Nerf Rebates going you can get this blaster, barrel attachment, 12 round magazine, worthless nerf darts, for just around 20 bucks. BUY IT!!!!

JUNK!
Do not buy this JUNK! I ordered this for a Christmas gift and when I opened it was not in the original packaging it was just crammed in a box with batteries already in it and the gun was scuffed up and it did not have the original nerf bullets that was supposed to come with it. I also paid $49.40 ordering it from Walmart and the slip said it was from Amazon for $19.90.

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser04/21/2020Fun Gun!My family and I love nerf wars! I recently purchased this one for myself but my son went nuts over it and insists that I share it. The light up feature is fun, especially in the dark, and it's fun and easy to use. Even the littlest kids can use this since it doesn't require you to pull a lever back before firing. Tons of fun!Kristie

1.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser11/15/2019Try them out before you leave the parking lot.We have bought the second set of these and they will not last out of the box. My grandchildren absolutely loved them and they did not make it thru the first day. Having to return items is always an inconvenience but the real problem is the disappointment for my grandchildren. 2.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser01/06/2019Waste of moneyChristmas present for my grandson. He was so excited when he opened it. It didn't work even after changing batteries. I exchanged it for him and it worked thru the first round of bullets, after that it just quit even after changing batteries. I will be returning the 2nd one and purchasing something else.Denny

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser12/25/2018Cool gun for our 6 yoLove that it lights up. Bought it for my 6 year old son. It is very easy to shoot. We also bought the Nerf tactical vest with extra bullets to go with it. If you are planning to do that you should know that those blue and orange bullets aren't the same size and get clogged up inside this gun. But that doesn't take away from this gun by itself. Great toy.clbsmith
