Small little mat that my cat loves
We have a lot of unattractive scratching posts around our house. This little mat has replaced one of them -- it's unobtrusive and my cat loves it. It looks like a small welcome mat (which by the way, the coir welcome mats are also great for cats) and is very unobtrusive. It has adhesive on the back but we don't use it... the mat stays in place. Definitely a great addition to our scratching posts, along with nail clippers!

    Cats have no interest in it other than to sleep on
    I have 5 cats. Not one of them is scratching this. It was not a success in my house. Pretty expensive for a floor mat which is what it turned out to be.

    I purchased the largest (XL 19.68*31.5") mat. It was packed in a clear, recyclable package and shipped in an opaque recyclable plastic pack. Straight out of the package my cats knew it was for them and started enjoying it. I didn't have to put any catnip on it, and they didn't give the folds from shipping time to flatten, or maybe they figured they'd help; in any case, they're delighted with my purchase. It looks like it's of good quality and should last a while. I have 3 aggressively clawed kitties, so if it makes it until Christmas I'll be impressed. I'll keep you posted on that, as I expect to purchase another when this mat needs replacement.

    My Peaches took to it right away! I'm so happy! I have a cat tree with scratching post but she doesn't really like it she prefers cardboard or cork board which makes a huge mess. Hopefully she'll stick to this mat now.

    My cats love it.
    From the minute I laid this down, my cats were on top of it. I needed more options for them to scratch so they would stay away from my furniture, and this doesn't disappoint. One of my cats likes to sleep on it as well! Nice medium size and works as described.

    Prevents cat from scratching furniture
    It's so amazing, I'm so happy that I got it for my cat. My cat loves this and I have a few lying around the home. Prevents her from scratching my furniture and she goes straight for these mats instead.So Its a great mat. My cat uses it regularly. So far, its holding up great. I didnt pay enough attention to the measurements listed in the description, its pretty small. But thats my fault. But sincerely recommend it, very good purchase.

    Great my cat love the scratch mat!
    Bought this for my cat, to give her some extra places to scratch. Seams well built, and like it is thick enough to last a year I hope. The size is good, wished it came in different colour choices. But there is no choice for differnet colors. My cat used to claw the sofa, but now she loves this mat instead. I may probably buy a couple more to throw around the house for her to scratch on.

    Good cat scratcher
    Ordered two of these to see if I could get my cat to quit tearing up the carpet. First thing she did was lay down and wiggle around on it and then tried to pick it up so she could sniff the underneath. She then went next to it and started tearing up the carpet. Even though it may not solve my problem it's a very sturdily built item and should last a long time period.
