Great Autism awareness doll
Having two daughters on the spectrum I found this doll to be a great addition to my girls dolls. It is an Autism advocate doll, african american and made beautifully. It is a my life so the size is as others from my life. Has a fidget spinner and ear muffs. Also came with a autism awareness bracelet which I found very cute. My girls love this doll and play with her every day.

Quality is good but I have mixed feelings
First of all, this is a quality doll, well made, beautiful face and hair. The clothes and accessories are of good quality as well, I like the fact that her eyes close when you lay her down, so kids can pretend she is sleeping. I am not sure abut the subject she is representing, I like the fact that a parent with an autistic child can show them that there is an autistic doll but what makes her autistic? The fidget spinner? The statement on her shirt? It's a bit of a stretch. I will leave it to parents of autistic children to decide whether this is appropriate, I can only comment on the quality, which is good.

    Super cute!
My kiddo adores this doll. She came with a beanie, headphones, tablet, fidget spinner,& matching awareness brackets for the doll and kid. I love the awareness aspects of the doll, from her shirt to the braclets,& items children with ASD usually accompany themselves with. A little bag/purse for the doll toto store it all in, would of been great addition to this doll. The doll is definitely poseable, she has been a to quite a few tea parties,& play dates with other dolls in the week we've has her. Her clothes are easily changeable, and she fits all of the 18in doll things we have. Her hair got a little messed up even carefully removing her from the box, but waa easy to fix and style however you'd like.

Beautiful doll with lessons to learn
The minute I gave this doll to my granddaughter she named her Crystal, she hugged and loved on her and she couldn't wait for Crystal to meet her other friends. Explaining to her about autism and that her doll is an advocate for autism she fell in love with her even more as her mom works with children that have disabilities so she was quite able to understand. Having an autism doll or any type of special needs doll is such a plus in today's society, it helps children to understand about people who need a little extra help and understanding. I would definitely recommend this doll, her hair is so soft and she sits so nicely. She comes with the telephone headphones and a bracelet for both herself and the little girl that loves her. This is definitely a doll that somebody with might want for their daughter or granddaughter

Perfect for teaching acceptance and kindness
I believe in the power of role play for teaching children valuable life lessons. So when I saw this doll I knew I needed it for my children, who are not autistic but are in school and interact with ones that are. This doll is really adorable. She has blonde, soft, slightly wavy hair and comes fully dressed in a shirt, vest, skirt, headphones and shoes. Also included is a fidget spinner, a beanie, phone, and a bracelet set for both doll and humans. The eyes open and shut, and the doll's limbs can be bent in many different poses. My three children of age ranges 3-9 absolutely loved opening this doll. One of their favorite things is that the fidget spinner is actually functional! I showed the doll to my brother who is a teacher for autistic children and he was so impressed to the level of detail and thought put into this doll. I could see this doll being used by teachers, students, as well as autistic children themselves as a way for children to learn kindness and acceptance of others. Some people might see this doll as a sterotype, because like autism itself the level of needs are on a spectrum. However, I think this is a wonderful step in the direction of inclusivity of others who appear different and opens up the dialogue about what makes others different and special. Overall, I think this is a wonderful idea and I look forward to seeing more of these dolls in the store.

    Cute and just as pictured
I think this doll is a cute way to try and help kids understand the difference and uniqueness other kids have♡ My nephew has autism so I thought getting this doll would be a helpful teaching guide with my kiddos as they're always asking questions.

    So amazing!
This was such an amazing My Life Doll! I came with a variety of accessories. One of which my kids enjoyed the most was the matching autism Advocate bracelet. I think it's wonderful that they have it on to some Advocate doll. I love that it is 18in and poseable. I would highly recommend this my life doll.

    Great for inclusion!
I was so excited to see this doll! Our son is autistic. We suspect our daughter is on the Spectrum as well and she is waiting to be evaluated. Autism acceptance is so important to us. In our home we fully embrace it. This doll is absolutely adorable. We love the fact that she has noise cancelling headphones and a fidget spinner. Both of our kids use noise cancelling headphones so they loved this. Her style is absolutely adorable. Having toys like this help promote being inclusive and accepting everyone no matter who they are and shows neurotypical children there are others out there who may not be exactly like them but they are still fun to play with and get to know. This is definitely a great way to promote autism acceptance and also provide children who are on the Spectrum with a doll they can relate to. Someone they can play with who is like them. This doll is great quality. Her eyes close whenever you lay her down. She is able to hold her fidget spinner and her tablet. She has a beanie hat and her shirt has a unique saying on it. We absolutely loved adding her to our family.

Love this Doll and Love the Message
I want to start this review by saying I understand there are some negative associations with the puzzle piece and Autism. I don't view the puzzle piece as saying Autism is puzzling, I view it as finding the missing puzzle piece. For too long, children and adults with autism were not understood and finally, awareness has been brought, as well as understanding, and that is the missing piece of the puzzle. The puzzle being society. I love that this doll communicates to children that they are indeed part of the whole, they don't need to feel left out or different. Being unique is a beautiful thing and autism does not need to be something that people don't understand any more. So with that said, my daughter was thrilled to receive this doll. The doll comes with a fidget spinner, little cell phone, headphones and a beanie. Her hair is super soft and my daughter loves playing with it. She loves that the doll had a fidget spinner because she has anxiety and as a result has several fidget toys to keep her anxiety at bay so to finally have a doll that she felt was similar to her made her feel so very special and understood. The doll is posable as it claims and led to hours of fun being played with in her room with her other dolls. The quality of the doll was surprisingly good, I wasn't sure what to expect but everything from the features on the doll down to her clothing and accessories were wonderful! For children who have autism, this doll represents so much more to them and then we as adults can understand. To finally feel represented in a store like Walmart is huge for children and we as adults do not need to take that away from them. Our society is often so quick to find issue with things and I understand that there has been a negative history associated with the puzzle piece but instead of trying to continue that negativity why don't we turn it into something positive for our kids? I know we all have differing opinions and that's the beauty of this world but my daughter would be so upset knowing that something she loved and viewed as special, was being ripped to shreds by adults. Let's change the narrative and make this doll what it is: a positive and welcome message to our children that you are special and loved and seen.
