Big in practicality, small footprint
This is a very nice quality piece of furniture. The instructions were easy to follow and the pieces fit together very well. It took about half an hour for my husband to put it together, no tools required. Solid construction, elegant design and most of all it is very practical. Chair base is made of wood and provides stability without sacrificing space. The seat itself has nice memory foam seat cushion and an insert infant pad for smaller babies. Both are easy to wipe and are machine washable. There is 5 point restraint harness for additional safety. The seat reclines to accommodate babies of all sizes and head control levels. The tray slides out easily in smooth motion with one hand lever press. There is a removable insert on top of the tray. The chair is easy to clean and disinfect. This is something that every parent can appreciate. I love the simple design of this chair that makes it a great addition to any space. The neutral color scheme in elegant grey will fit any décor. The chair is designed to accommodate kids up to 50 lbs. Adjustable tray position and seat recline makes it customizable for any child's growing needs.

I purchased this Monbebe high chair to have at my house while watching my one year old grandson. I liked the look of it when I saw it at the store. My husband put it together and was not happy there were so many parts but once assembled, it looked really nice and fit perfectly in the small area I have to put it compared to the other big plastic high chairs. I used it for the first time yesterday and noticed that one leg was completely cracked down the side of the “faux wood”. So, if it wasn't cracked, I would have said it was great

    Beautiful Hybrid Highchair
    After reading a million reviews on this chair, and the Abiie, Keekaroo, I settled on giving the Monbebe a try (easy Local Walmart return). I wanted a wood high chair for a smaller footprint, and a one hand removal plastic tray. This was it. The other brands said the stain on the tray below the plastic cover was wearing off. This tray is entirely plastic, top plastic insert snaps in easily (but not too easily that my baby can do it) and can be put in the dishwasher. The legs are wood, but the “arms” of the chair and tray are bpa free plastic and those are the parts that get all the scrubbing. It looks like we spent $200 plus without the price tag, but more importantly the functionality of the one-handed tray is fantastic (reviews on the other brands said they needed two hands, plastic insert/overlay didn't work well). The only part that could use minor improvements is the buckles....wish they'd position it back further. But minor. My husband used a power drill and had it put together in under 20 min.

    very stylish. easy assembly. small footprint which was my main reason for purchase. yet... my child does not seem to last long sitting in it. not sure if it's due to comfort level or my child's attention span

    LOVE it... I had a ugly big bulky plastic highchair before, But This one is so pretty and also very functional. Love that it reclines, also love that the entire tray comes off, I bought this for a baby on the way but my toddler has already used it a few times. I love that she can just climb in it herself without the tray on its like a regular chair.... its bar Height which worked out for us because I can just push her up to the bar For her to sit. Id also like to note that I personally like that it doesn't have wheels. My toddler pushed our plastic one with wheels all around the house and it drove me nuts. My only complaint is it was a bit of a pain in the butt for me to put together but otherwise perfect.

    I can’t get over how classy it looks. I’ve received tons of compliments and friends constantly ask me where they can purchase one. Unlike the original highchair we had, this one has 3 positions. 1 upright, 2 slight recline and 3 fully reclined. This is essential because even though your baby might be able to sit up without assistance or even with minimal assistance if you have it on slight recline it helps your baby not struggle with slipping towards the bottom. This highchair doesn’t just have a simple over the lap belt it has a harness. Material is not only padded and comfy for baby, it’s easy to clean, tray is removable, chair itself was simple to build. No tools needed. It’s also very sturdy and even though our daughter is only 7 months I can see her being able to use this for a very long time due to its quality.

    Great look, easy to use
    I love the contemporary and modern look of this high chair. It is gray finished wood, but very durable. The plastic tray is easy to remove and has an inset tray that can be washed as well. The additional pad is very soft and provided more support for a little one's head. The seat can be positioned in three ways depending on your child's age and size. My two year old can use this seat as can my new niece. Very functional and beautiful!

    Comfort first for baby
    I have recieved the Monbébé Luxe wood reclining High Chair in gray. I have never had such a luxurious piece of baby furniture before. This high chair is of sturdy construction. The only parts that are plastic are the removable tray and where the tray sits. The plastic is a little bit too big making it quite difficult to get the tray on and off quickly. I hope that with repeated use it will get easier. The oversized cushions appear to be memory foam which is quite comfy for baby. The seat easily reclines for early eaters. There is a bar on the back of the high chair where the tray fits perfectly for storage. The two tray design ensures easy clean up of messes. When we received it, the dowels that go on the seat to sit into the high chair were missing, but thanks to my husband's quick thinking it was an easy fix. The 5 point harness is easy to adjust in order to fit any baby, big or small. The high chair is sleek and elegant while still being a functional piece of essential baby furniture. The height is great for the dining room table while also fitting PERFECTLY under the kitchen island with the tray removed. I highly recommend this highchair!
