Would not recommend. Cant even cool my bedroom.
I bought this and it barely works. It won’t cool my bedroom. I took the filter out to clean and it broke taking it out and a metal piece is poking out of the front. Definitely a waste of money, and being a single mom of 3, I can’t afford to waste this kind of money.

3.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser07/18/2023Prices are slashed for a reasonSo, chances are...if there's a slashed price...it's because it's a returned item that is still in working condition. As this A/C was $30 off(even though advertised as brand new), because or a dent and messed up rear metal/vent mesh. Luckily, it was probably returned because it was too small for their 1st customers area. Because it does work so far, during initial 2minute test. Will update if anything else is messed up with it. Overall a worthy item at a higher price than it should be.Jeremy

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser06/26/2023Great little unitI bought this unit to supplement my central unit on these hot New Orleans nights. It took me (73 year old female) about 20 minutes to install this a/c in my window. Outside heat index was 104°, indoor temperature around 80° . After running this unit in my 13'x13' bedroom with the door closed and central air turned off, the temperature dropped to about 74° in a half hour... and this was in an unshaded window. Contrary to some reviews, this unit is fairly quiet for a basic no-frills unit. I'm very satisfied with this purchase.nativegirl49

3.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser06/26/2023Damage ProductWalmart shipped me a Product that was Damage. The Fins at the Back of the AC is Dented In 4 locations. It works tho, so I'll just keep it and try Fix the Dents. Is this what customers get when Shopping Online?Dennis

3.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser05/31/2023Cold, but very noisyThis unit blows cold air, but is quite noisy. I mean, annoyingly loud with a higher pitch sound in addition to the lower tone of the compressor. [The other identical one I bought isn't so loud.] I might exchange it for a different one. If you can afford it, buy from a reputable brand. Do your research.WP

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser05/23/2023Pretty CoolThis little thing was a huge surprise for a 250 sq foot bedroom.. After trying four different portable air conditioners (8000 to 10000 btu, $300 to $400) that were very poor to poor, I decided to block this in a slider window with plywood and foamboard (trashy but can be covered up with fabric and tacks.) It immediately churns out ice cold air. I like it better on the "low cool" setting, as the air slowly circulates instead of mixing with the hot air. Plus, you can still hear the TV. You can use a fan on very low setting to direct the cold air. When its triple digits (I'm in the desert,) this used $4 per 24 hours, while my central air uses $12 (California prices.) My favorite thing: no unnecessary beeps, thermostat or remote. It's totally mechanical. If I want it turned off after bedtime, I use a timer plugged into a surge protector. Also, if you have an older electric system, you can still operate low-draw items (led lights, electronics, low speed fan) on the same circuit without tripping the breaker. I haven't seen water dripping yet, but the humidity has been below 30%. Finally, my dog LOVES to lay in front of it for hours.TD

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser10/16/2022Not a single issue in 6mon, huge bang for the buckThis little unit works so much better than I assumed it would. It's blowing out 40*f colder than it sucking in. With a comfort setting for temperatures but also humidity. And in Florida that is important. The temperatures outside may drop but with the relative humidity climbs to 100% we need that humidity reduced, long before everything inside gets wet with condensation. If you don't know, dropping the temperature is only half the job of cooling you. You have to dry out the air too, for comfort and prevent mold growth. This unit even is WiFi connected if you choose for remote control from your phone. This is a super unit with a huge bang for the buck. It was tested during my whole house ac unit went out 3 times for several days in a row each. It kept 2 bedrooms and a bath cool, dry and very comfortable. Not a single issue after 5 month of use.Kelley
