Would be great if it stayed connected to Wi-Fi.
Nice picture but Wi-Fi connection is horrible. I initially set the camera up in my room, it wouldn't stay connected. So, I moved it closer to the gateway and it still wouldn't connect. I reinstalled the app and it still wouldn't connect.Highly disappointed.

I only wish they could go outdoors but my solution to that is put them on the window pointing out! Also get longer wires the original is very short. I love em can't beat the price great investment even if you just have pets you Want to keep an eye on All control are from your phone, tablet, android or apple can use itWorks

Unfortunately though, it worked for a half an hour and then nothing. No power, no connection, no nothing. I tried looking up troubleshooting to get it working again but it just was dead.Lola

It was fairly easy to set up via the app. it also has a flexible stem so it's very easy to mount in any angel and it works very well. I also liked that it has live view, motion alerts and speaker features The app itself could use some work to be more simplified with advanced settings. Overall works good, I would recommend it , if you are looking for a simple and easy to install solution for security or surveillance.Goldieluxe

I have concerns about safety outside as well as theft. Inside I like to be able to check in on how my dog is doing too. I appreciate the wifi connection but would rather only use an SD card. They don't include one with the device. I really do not want constant alerts about movements at my home. I like that the device is white since that goes with my design style. However it is larger than I would prefer. I'd like it to be a little smaller so it is not as obvious. I do not find the speak feature all that useful for me. If you have the need for this camera you can easily buy multiples to put around your home. Since it is lightweight it is easy to install.Ffxtester

This security camera was just what I was looking for by my front windows over looking my front door ... I like that it can be bent any way , its extremely flexible ... I like I can move the camera around to view different areas of the space outside, when placed at my window ... It also has a volume button to listen to sounds and to talk if someone is at your door, which is very kool , you can talk through your phone out to the security camera ... I also like the blue light , especially at night , that tells me its all working and watching over things and if anyone sees it from the outside , they will know I have security cameras in effect ... A signal message pops up on your phone when the security camera picks up motion, great feature .. The only negative thing, was the cord to plug into the electric outlet on my wall, is not long enough, so I ran down to my local Walmart and got a longer micro cord to plug into the outlet , for a few bucks .. This security camera is an inexpensive way to watch over your home .. I want to point out you have to have WI-FI hooked up in your home to use it .. I notice some people complaining about setting it up ... I would think they don't have a proper phone to monitor things .. You have to have an Android - Any Smart Phone ... NOT A FLIP PHONE - OR A THROW AWAY CHEAP CELL PHONE .... otherwise the whole security system will not work the way it should be .. Also, if you want to record motions, it's good to have a sims card , this slides into the security cameras opening , which then recordings will show up on your phone , as you want to review past motions - meaning motion activity your security camera records, perhaps while you are sleeping .. people walking past your windows etc.... or recording the inside of your home ... otherwise you can't go back to see recordings , if that's important to you, otherwise you don't need a sims card .. or you can use the recording feature on your phone for continuous recordings, but that may waste your data ... Or you can sign up with the Cloud service for a monthly charge and they will record it for you, then you just check in and see your recordings - all this you can do right through your phone, it will guide you ... they make it very easy to setup the system ... YOU MUST DOWNLOAD THE GENEE APP. TO MAKE YOUR SECURITY CAMERA WORK AND FUNCTION ... so you must have a decent cell phone to do so ... I'm going to buy another one to watch over the inside my home , so I can watch over my elderly pets when I'm not home .. Which is amazing to do when you are away from home, you just log into the app. on your phone and you can watch over your home .. BRILLIANT ... It does everything an expensive security camera does .. Highly recommend this device throughout your home , it's a great inexpensive way to provide security for yourself and family ... .. I'm happy with it ..trudey
