Easy setup and change colors
I love these bulbs. I have them in three outdoor covered posts and enjoy changing the colors remotely for the different holidays and seasons and work great with Google.

constant disconnect
lights constantly disconnect from the wifi or just "arent available" or "offline". at least once a week i have to completely reset them and start all over. dont waste your money on this garbage

    easy to use once set up
    my only complaint is that it doesn't work with a 5g wifi. you have to add a 2g connection. after it's set up though they are great. i have 8 of them in my house and it's so easy because they don't require a hub to work and they work with my Google home speaker.

    Bought this kit about a month after buying the first color changing wifi bulb from Amazon. The one from amazon lost connection and quit working for anything other than a standard bulb, while the Merkury bulbs are still working wonderfully 4 months later.

    Good product, terrible app and user interface.
    The app is garbage. When I group 2 or more bulbs together they never all respond to my commands. Half of the time it won't even recognize the device and say it's offline when it isn't, even after restarting the app. I have to go and manually turn it off and back on twice to get it to come on, and if I had it dimmed or on a certain color it goes back to that instead of just regular bright white, I have to wait for the app to decide it's going to recognize the bulb before I can change any of that and sometimes it just doesn't ever recognize it and I have to completely reset the bulb by turning it off and on three times then repair it to the phone, but it will never work in the group again after resetting it. I don't know where it just doesn't work the way it should. Supposed to integrate with Alexa but half most the time she just says the bulb is offline when it isn't. I would recommend paying the extra five dollars for the Phillips or the Samsung bulbs because the merkery and geeni bulbs just won't do what you want it to.

    absolutely love have one in every room can control from my phone. the light had beautiful colors that can be dimmed. so ready to use in app and can turn the lights on before going inside to see better at night. the best for my toddler's room I change the colors to help him calm down and create a southing environment for bed time.

    Tried Many Different WiFi Bulbs, These Work Best
    I’ve been through a number of different wifi bulbs, bluetooth one as well. Walking down the aisle at Walmart I saw this 4-pack for $20. Reading it, the spec were good, and not much of a risk to try. Long story short, these work better than any other brand I’ve tried. They work with the Geenie app and Alexa and go on instantly, pair with no wifi so easily, and they are bright, easy to adjust the colors and overall do everything just right. I have lots of lamps at home and my office. I had expensive bulbs that lost their connection regularly, and didn’t hold settings. I tossed them all (32 in total) and replaced all of them with these Merkury and haven’t had one not work the way I set them up, no pairing loss, and I am really glad I made the switch. Highly recommended. For the price, which is less than a plain LED bulb, they are a great value and work well.

    The lights work perfectly. Easy to install and they have a lot of beautiful colors as well as shades of white. Just download the app and control them from an app. Make sure they are close and able to connect to a wifi. I used these in my office upstairs and they work well.

    Nice lights with a variety of changing colors
    I love these bulbs! They can be a challenge to set up but if you follow all of the instructions, and if one way doesn't work, try the next thing. Eventually you'll figure it out! Also, there is customer service you can call with help setting up.

    These are fun.
    Plug them in, download the app, put them on your wifi network, and you can change them to any color you like, and control them individually, or simultaneously, with your phone, tablet, Nest, or Echo. (Way cheaper than the Clapper!) Two catches: If you buy any other brand of bulb or smart device, each brand will require its very own app. And if the wifi goes down, you're either stuck in the dark… or the light.
