Works great
The Merkury Innovations A21 Smart Light Bulbs are pretty awesome. We had some issues connecting it initially but once we followed the steps to reset it (turning the light on and off 3 times) it was able to connect to the app. My daughter loves that there's a variety of colors she can set the bulb to. She has it in her room. The app is easy to navigate. It adds great color to any room. You can also set it to a normal light color. We love it! When setting it up it does flash repeatedly and quickly. As long as you can handle strobe lights you'll be fine!

Good light; Could not put on phone
I received this item free to write a review. I was really excited to get this bulb and try out the different colors and functions of it. It can change to different colors and be voice activated. Unfortunately, after I downloaded the software on my phone it gave me an error message because this is for 2.4 GHz Wi-fi and mine is 5 Ghz wifi in my home. I am still using the bulb as an average light bulb, but disappointed I could not use all the functions of it. I did not know at the time that there would be an issue because my GHz was higher than the 2.4. I thought it would work if it was higher and not less. Overall average because I cannot accurately review the item.

    Easy to Use, Beautiful Colors and Effects!
    We really enjoy this Merkury Smart LED A21 light bulb. We installed the bulb in a bedside lamp- just screw it in like any other light bulb. To access all the colors and features, you will need to have WiFi in your home, and you'll need to install the app on your phone (name of the app: geeni). This was super easy and simple to do and I am not tech savvy at all. You can control everything about the lightbulb now, either by speaking ("ok Google, ...."), or by using the app. You can can turn it off and on, change the level of light, the color, the intensity, the various special effects, etc. really easily, all by voice commands, or the app! You can even set your light bulb on a completely customizable schedule! How cool is that?! A couple things to note: you have to be connected to WiFi to control the lightbulb, and you also have to have the light switch on (on your lamp). I uploaded several photos so you can see some of the options, and what the app and lighting looks like. I like that the bulb is an LED because it doesn't heat up like the regular lightbulb we had previously, and it lasts way longer and uses less electricity/money than a regular bulb. The color and intensity is nice for our needs, but keep in mind that if you want to light up an entire room, you'll need to purchase several of these bulbs. One is not enough to light up a room with the color of your choice. I definitely want to order a bunch more! I would definitely recommend this Smart LED Color light bulb to anyone!     First Smart Bulb
    I was skeptical at first about smart bulbs. They looked like some sort of flash in the pan fad without anything to keep them relevant. However, I'm very impressed with this bulb. At first, connecting it was a pain but after 3 attempts I got it to connect. The companion app allows it to change colors, saturation, and brightness. It even works with Google Home. The only downside is that its beside my bed and I'm used to pulling a cord to turn off my light. Now I ask Google to turn it off and that works, but I'm afraid I may pull the cord and disconnect the bulb from the WiFi and have to go through that pain again.

    I am very impressed and happy with the performance of this Merkury Innovations Smart Light Bulb! It was very simple and straightforward to install and set up this smart light bulb, you just connect this smart light bulb to your home WiFi and then download the geeni app that lets you control the light remotely from anywhere. What's even better is the convenience that this smart light bulb can be used with popular voice control apps, such as Google Assistant, Alexa and Microsoft Cortana. This dimmable smart light bulb lets you choose from an incredible amount of vibrant, bright, beautiful light colors to suit your mood and accentuate the space you are using it in. It can also be used as a simple white light color if you prefer. There are a couple of preprogrammed modes you can choose from, too, which automatically switch through a preprogrammed variety of colors for beautiful lighting effects of your home. What I love most is the ability to set schedules for the light to turn on and off on its own at a certain time of the day. The geeni app also lets you control multiple Merkury smart light bulbs at once as a group or individually if you choose. This smart light bulb is an excellent upgrade and replacement for regular light bulbs, they are energy efficient and have a very long lifespan. I highly recommend Merkury Smart Light Bulbs!

    Coolest Light Bulb Ever!!
    I have to say this is the most coolest lightbulb I have ever seen or used. What an awesome, innovative technology. It is so easy to use. You first download the app through Google Play or Apple store. It also works connected with your Alexa or Google Assistant. You set up the app then screw in the lightbulb. Once it blinks a few times you connect the app and your device to it. It is so simple to control it. It has how many diming options. It has thousands of color choices and settings like rainbow and it's like a slide show of colors. You can even change the brightness of the colors. The colors and settings are truly mind blowing. I could literally sit there all day and just watch them. It's like a colorworks display. It is energy saving and lasts a long time. It's a great price too. I can't rave enough about this. Go out and get yourself one or more because you can even connect the bulbs to each other. You will be blown away too!! I love this so much.

    So much fun!
    I love Merkury Innovations products and already have several, and this Smart Light Bulb may just be my favorite! Since I already had the Geeni app it was a breeze to set up and off I went on a wonderful color journey! You can set it to a solid color, or choose from an array of scenes that have different light levels for reading and ambiance and also several fun color changing scenes. I put the bulb in my front porch light and have had a blast changing the colors already. Our Governor started a thing where everyone put up green lights to show support for those fighting Covid, so I love that I can change it all different colors of green! There is even a "nature" scene setting where it slowly moves through different shades of green! I changed it to a scene that was red, blue, and green on the 4th of July. One suggestion I would have for the app is that I would like to be able to change the colors in the scenes. You can change it to any color you want when it's just a solid color, but the colors in the scenes are set and there is no way to change them. Like the "rave" scene only flashes red, and I would like to be able to change the color. Not a big deal though and I still love all the fun things it does. It's super easy to control from my phone. I can turn it off and on from the app, and have it set on a schedule so it's not on all the time. The bulb itself is made of plastic which I thought was cool... no worry of it breaking outside! I was shocked to see that as long as you only use it a few hours a day it can last over 20 years! Plus it only costs $1.32 a year to run! Fun, economical, and easy to use... what more could you want from a smart bulb??

    These light bulbs connect thru WiFi and can be controlled via an app or Alexa. It is nice to have the extra features and options for colors. The WiFi is nice if you want to turn lights on and off while you are away. I would recommend to family and friends.

    Any color you want!
    These lights are awesome! I have them in my bedroom and I like to play with them from my phone. They are as easy as a regular light bulb to install. The app is very user friendly, and you can literally bet any color of lighting that you can think of, just change the color on the app and boom the room is lit up that color! And the best part is you can do even from your phone!!
