Very sturdy
I really needed a trash can for my laundry room, so I got this little beauty. I love how sturdy it feels, the plastic is thick enough to hold up under pressure. This can is the perfect size, at 3 gallons, for what I need and I chose black because that color goes with every decor. Now maybe my kids will put the lint and fabric softener sheets in the garbage instead of waiting for me to do it! I got this to replace a very small trash container that sits on top of my dryer. I have been so frustrated with that darn thing! I am excited to have it and can highly recommend giving it a try!

A little too small but works
This garbage can is 3 gallons and is small. It would work fine under a sink in a bathroom but not much else unless you wanted a small garbage can to fit somewhere. The garbage can is made well but the size would lead to frequent emptying if it was used regularly. I took some pictures to try to give a sense of the size. If the dimensions work for you, then it would be great but as a normal everyday garbage can, it will likely be too small.

    Great little trash can
    I like how this trashcan is more of a square than a rectangle. It’s perfect for my teenage son’s room and fits nicely under his desk. Solid plastic and not at all flimsy. Good quality trash can!

    Sturdy trashcan in a compact size
    This economy trash can is surprisingly sturdy to be at a low price point. The capacity is limited but that is to be expected for a 3-gallon size. The can is pretty short and is slim enough to fit in most areas where space is limited. Perfect for a home office or bathroom where there isn't a lot of trash generated. The top edge of the plastic can is "rolled over and down" to make it even sturdier. It is actually hard to apply enough force to "deform" the top, therefore it should stand up to repeated use. Overall, this can is a bargain for the quality.

    Good for small spaces
    This trashcan is good for small spaces like under the office desk and other spaces where there is dry, odorless waste. Here I am using it in my closet for dry waste. I typically use a standard plastic shopping bag to make cleanup easy but you don't need to since the plastic is easy to clean if it gets gross.

    Good for small spaces
    This is a good trashcan for the bathroom or small bedroom. Black is always a good color that fits with anything. It’s just the right size to reuse plastic shopping bags, they fit without falling in.

    Lightweight, but not flimsy trash can, easy to use. My original thought was to put it in the bathroom, but it was a bit smaller than I liked for in there. It was, however, the perfect size for my son's bedroom. Cleans up very easily with soap and water if something is spilled inside. Overall great product that does exactly what it was designed to do.

    It's a trash can
    It's a trash can. No lid, small trashcan, good for office or bathroom. It's pretty solid plastic so shouldn't break too easy but I haven't tried to smash it to test :) I use it in my office next to my desk and it does what a trash can should, collects trash. When it's full, I empty it, it serves its function.

    Mainstays Three Gallon Plastic Trash Can in Black
    So, this is the Mainstays Three Gallon Plastic Trash Can in Black. It is 7.83" Length x 10.24" Width x 12” Height. This is the perfect trash can for your bedroom, laundry room, bathroom or office. It is made out of a durable plastic. I replaced this tiny trash can for my husband's office. It fits perfectly under his desk. It is very strong and has round corners. This trash can, can be lined with a grocery bag and it fits perfectly. It keeps the inside of it clean and all you got to do is tie up the handles and throw it out. At first, I didn't think the grocery bag would fit, that it would be too small, but I was pleasantly surprised that I was wrong. What I like is that it fits more trash for my husband. So, every week he would do his infusion and his trash can would be overflowing with all his syringes and tubing. With the old tiny trash can, when he would do his infusion, his trash would overflow and then it would be knocked over by either of the cats or the dog because it would be too full! His needles go into a sharps container so we do not worry about that.

    Good little trash can
    This little trash can is great for under desk. Or under a sewing table. It allows me to toss tread and serger scraps with ease. I tried using a larger trash can under my sewing table but I kept kicking it over, this is small enough that doesn't happen.
