Great purchase overall. No issues so far.
The laptop starts very quickly and runs great. I installed Fortnite and CSGO and both games run smoothly. It's a good looking computer and the keyboard light looks awesome. I have it connected to a 27" monitor on 1080 resolution and image looks very good. I recommend it.

Avoid at all costs anything made by ONN, 0 stars
Tv worked for two hours before shutting itself off. Tried again to turn it on the next day and nothing. Screen lit up slightly. Contacted ONN customer service and got the run around. They told us something hit it and they can't help me. Avoid the hassle we got, buy a better tv from well known company. Not one who doesn't stand by their product. It came out of the box this way and nothing hit it. Now we can't even get it replaced. Horrible!!!!

    Back for a 4th
My family bought 3 of these last year so we came back for another one this year. That basically says it all. A full years worth of use and no complaints. From ordering, receiving, and using has been a very good experience. I definitely recommend this gaming laptop.

Great for mid-size, mid-range games, not high end
If you're wanting big storage, you'll need an external storage to go with this laptop. If you're just wanting to use it for one or two mid-sized games, go for it. The GTX 1650 GPU is enough for most games and there is enough hard disk space for a couple of games, leaving room for pictures, documents, etc. if needed. If you're a hardcore gamer who has to have ALL the games, etc., you need to look for something else. Game FOMO will just make you angry with a small hard disk size and GPU that will likely be obsolete in another year or two.

    Excellent value!
My son had been wanting a gaming computer or laptop and after lots of research, I decided on this one… and I am happy I did! You can't beat the price! All of his games work great on this and he is very happy with it and has even recommended it to a few of his friends! The only issue (that I knew was going to be an issue before ordering it) was the available memory.. so I bought a portable external hard drive for under $100 for this reason. We just leave this hard drive plugged in at all times and it works exactly the same… and all of his games are on this hard drive.. so whenever it is time for a new computer, he won't have to download them again and he has tons of memory available for more games! We are very happy with this purchase and my son has been using it daily for almost a full year now with no issues at all.

    Ignore the low score reviews
Look through all the low score reviews and notice people are complaining about stuff that to be expected from a budget gaming laptop. They didn't look into what they needed and/or we're buying. I bought this last week to game a bit during downtime at work. I have another gaming laptop and a gaming desktop that also doubles as a miner. Overall it has good specs for what you pay in the current market. Ive played several games off gamepass and everything has been good so far with most game getting in that 60fps range (med for older games and low/med on newer games) I initially used it as is with 8gb of ram but i had a 8gb stick laying around and after installing it i had a good boost to multitasking and gaming. Storage space is low (as expected at this price) but the give you a bracket for an SSD and there is another m.2 slot in there. Another 256 gb SSD or m.2 can be found for $25-$30 and 512gb for $45-$55. It'll be a must if you want to install more than 2-3 games since format and windows itself bring down available space. For those of you that were expecting a card that would play newer VR games with a budget laptop. For VR to work with consistent framerates for all/most new VR games you need an RTX card with 8gb of Vram moving forward. Start looking at laptops that are around double this price. Battery life in most gaming laptop isn't going to be great. It's the nature of having a video card drawing a lot of power from the battery when gaming. You also need to factor in that they have limited space in these so you only have room for so much battery in already cramped area. Check online and I'm sure there are bigger aftermarket batteries for a decent price since MSI sells a lot of these. The good news is that when not gaming it uses the lower powered GPU that Intel includes with the processor so when doing basic tasks it'll help keep thing going longer. Tweek the brightness and other setting for maximum battery and in my experience i got around 4.5-5 hours with writing documents, checking emails browsing the web at 50% bright levels. On the other end of the spectrum Gaming on 50% bright got me about 2 hours 20 min to go from 100%-20%. Overall the hardware and style of the laptop is great and well worth what i paid. For around $50-$60 you can double the ram and ssd space available. MSI did a great job of protecting the screen with a metal cover. Overall this is just fine for most people as an entry level gaming laptop and/or multi use laptop.

    A good gaming laptop
So as someone who wanted a computer that could, of course, play video games; I'm generally happy. The shipping itself was done by FedEX, which made it a week late, so I would recommend buying it in a store if it is still in stock. Now as for the computer itself, I am decently pleased. For $650 I can play my video games with great graphics and speed, what more could you want? A few catches: screen tearing happened with one of my games (just optimize your settings to fix that, try toggling Nsync). Battery only lasts a few hours, so keep your brightness low and your charger with you if it's on the go. A bit of overheating on the bottom, not really rare for laptops (do with that info as you will). Lastly the storage has a bit less space than advertised, so keep in mind you'll lose a few dozen or more (this goes for any device you buy that has storage). I bought this at advertised 250GB storage, but it's less than that. If you want to play a high storage game, like The Witcher 3 or Red Dead Redemption 2, you will need to buy some external storage (or just buy a model with lots of storage), so take heed if you do not want to spend extra on external drives. I would recommend for anyone low on cash but itching to play some video games, but if you have more money try to buy a better model with better Storage and RAM.

    Great computer!!!! I'm in love!
The MSI GF63 is a great computer for anyone that's wanting to start gaming! I been obsessed with a phone game and needed a good computer to run the phone emulator and this one was amazing for it! I would I would give it 5 start if the computer has more ram memory. I want able to download an extra game I wanted to play.
