Solid basic speakers
These are great basic computer speakers. I bought these for my son who normally uses a gaming headset but needs a speaker for basic activities when he doesn't need anything special. For basic speakers these are perfect. There's enough volume to enjoy to sound but not too loud to disturb the neighbor or the brother in the next room. These were super easy to hook up to the computer and did not require me to download any additional drivers.

I will not ever buy speakers from Logitech again.
Sound is inconsistent but rarely loud enough. Speakers quit working and after 10 to 15 minutes of troubleshooting I can get them back working. This happens quite often. The Logitech website is of no help. I have always used their wireless mice and have had no problems with them.

I can barely hear them across the room if I'm listening to music, a podcast or TV show. Not bad if you're sitting at the computer but don't plan to hear the sound from very far away.Eva

Not these speakers. Full of static. And I don't play at full volume - very disappointed. If I didn't need something now I would return them but I guess these will do until I find something better. If you don't mind a loud speaker set that'll bother your neighbors, these are for you. If you rather listen to loud audio, you'd have to use a free audio converter to increase volume levels of your music files. You'll notice it's stereo sound easily. Don't know if stereo sound is healthy for humans. It's like listening to two different songs. I prefer stereo! However, there's that sense of knowing to always be alert when listening to stereo sound. You'd have no problems noticing these speakers are stereo speakers. They should expand the cord length of these stereo speakers so listeners can experiment with stereo sound. Eight feet is better than less than two feet. These speakers are very impressive for computer speakers which have improved during the past couple of decades.Samuel

The speakers can be set from 1 to 100, and it's annoying even at a level 1. I've searched all over my computer for another setting to lower the volume but, nope. Last three resorts: 1) tape a washcloth over the speakers or 2) buy and wear headphones (without them being connected) or 3) return the speakers. If are looking for background music....don't buy these. But otherwise, they work.K

But boy was I surprised, the sound quality of these speakers far exceeded my expectations. They are Crestal Clear with a Very nice bass sound to them. they will not Rock the hole house, if that's what you have in Minde, But they are everything needed sitting in front of them. I think for now they are everything I will need in a good quality sounding speakers. So Yes I would recommend them to family and friends. Don't be fooled by the inexpensive price tag. Because they are worth a lot more than the tag price.Leprechaun
