Works great!
The connection was easy but I like that they have an 800 number in case I ran into any problems. It reaches my devices in the bedrooms and my apartment is 1100sq ft. I have a bunch of devices connected and they all seem to be working great. I love the compact sleek design. It's not bulky and outdated. It's modern, and the black color matches everything in my living room. Nothing but positive things to say.

Good router
Received this product today. It was very easy to set up and hook up the internet. I live in a 2 story home with just my wife and I so this router works perfect for us. We both game on PC and we haven't had a bad experience so far with the connection.

    Easy telephonic set up'
    I was unable to set up the router on my own, but all it took was one very quick phone call to linksys and the router was up and running in less than 3 minutes.

    Great wifi/router
    So far i am very pleased. The router has meant internet service to my cellphone on which i've had no service out where I live. The internet techs from Nextlink set this up. I bought the wifi router because i was having internet installed and preferred to own my router rather than rent from Nextlink. I think i made an excellent purchase!

    Easy Setup and Great Signal
    I am quite impressed with this router! With the Linksys app it was extremely easy to setup. I had my network configured and setup in less than ten minutes! The app also allows you to see what devices are connected to the network which offers peace of mind. This router offers great signal, even through the thick walls of my house. In the rooms furthest from the router I now have full signal where with my previous router I would notice diminished speed. I'd recommend the Hydra 6 to anyone looking for a high quality, easy to use router.

    I just hooked this up to my spectrum internet box last night and wow it has made a huge difference in the speed on our phones on Wi-Fi. It was super easy to install and will be getting another if anything happens to this one. Highly recommended.

    I installed the app for the Linksys Hydra 6 Dual-Band Router on my smartphone and it was easy to set up as per instructions. I attached the router to my modem using an ethernet cable and powered it on; a blue light appeared, which signals that it is connected. We are having a way better coverage than before, It is made of high-quality material, lightweight, and does not take up lots of space. Overall this is a great router for a medium-sized home.

    Great range and simple to set up!
    I've been impressed with the range of this router and how easy it was to set up. I have set up wireless networks for myself, friends, and businesses many times during the last 20 years so my default instinct is to hardwire in and launch the admin page, but I intentionally decided to use the Linksys app and see how much Linksys has been able to simplify the install. They have come a long way and truly made it so that just about anyone can install one of these. The app walks you through the right order of hooking it up, then connects through bluetooth to the router and also does all the settings through the cloud which is nice. Even after initial setup it is very easy to manage things like the wifi name, parental controls or running a speed test. When trying to connect initially it did take the app 2 tries to find the router but it plainly said it could connect, listed the things to confirm (which were already correct) and had a button to try again so it wasn't difficult...but everything else was flawless. I put this side-by-side with my existing WiFi 4 (802.11n) router and checked the distance. I have a somewhat large house and I still had great signal on the far side on a different floor. You should basically ignore all claims about speed/distance of a router because it completely depends on the materials of your house and interfering signals from other devices, so I'll just say that this works as I would hope a WiFi 6 router would! The other bonus is that it can be used with a mesh system so if you do have a huge house or dead spots you can buy and easily add another mesh access point and connect it in a couple minutes through the app. I ran multiple speed tests from the far side of my house and it performed at the same level as another WiFi 6 router that I have, and slightly faster than the WiFi 4 router. For the most part your speed is going to be limited by the internet provider, not your router (unless you have really fast gig speed internet or something like that) so it was good to see in speed tests in the app I was getting the full speed my ISP provides. On the hardware side, the design is really nice and simplistic. Only 1 light on the front and it changes colors or blinks as needed which I really like, not a row of 5-10 lights like many other routers. It also has all Gigabit ports which is something still not seen on many routers at this level and is a nice bonus. So overall: it's simple to use, has great range, great speed, great design...there is nothing I don't like so I highly recommend!
